Merry Christmas,

it really doesn't feel like christmas today it feels like christmas was yesterday cause we opened all our presents yesterday cause my brother/cousin Jonathon had to leave this morning. got some good things, gave some good things. i am out at the radio station now with my dad cause he had to do some work and i wanted to use the internet because our computer at home is being stupid. so now that i have said all that i will explain "we got charlied" it comes from kvly highschool challenge when every year we have lost because of something done by chalie johnson the worst game show host ever. thus the phrase "we got charlied"  bob and i are thinking of starting our own tv show in which we take things from people who rightfully earned them and then say "you got charlied" and run off. it would be great fun. well not for them for us. anyway... we showed LPA who is boss at knowledge bowl on tuesday moorhead got 1,2,3 and 8 team one got 120 points teams two and three tied at 102 and the next closest team was like 92 or something. good day. sometime i think it would be fun to try see how good we do without taking the written test. we would start out 50 points down but we would get some much points being in the lowest room to start. it woule be an interseting expirement... well not for you for us. anyway.

wednesday nights at church pastor kent always says "stay as long as you like" and so since se didn't have school on thursday a bunch of us did. lots of people still had to be home by midnight so they left prettty early but then annie ellie bekah kayla katrina ethan and i all stayed a long time. ethan and kayla and katrina went home about 2, 2:30 ish. bekah annie ellie and i stayed and first helped kent come up with and acrostic for when he speeks at a camp in wisconson next week here it is

God -who God is
Olio - people have olio (random mixture) of perceptions of God
Seperation - sin seperates us from God
Persue-  God persues us and we should persue him
Enthrone - We need to enthrone God in our lives
Live - we need to live for him

i came up this the word gospel then with the letters g,o,e,l i like this acrostic thing. so after we came up with that we made 250 booklets for it with blanks for nots and things. we left at 5:05. when i got home my dad was already getting up for work. crazy.

thats all i have got for now

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

hey there. how are you? (if positive response) thats good (if response is negative) i'm sorry to hear that.

well so here is what has been happening lately. school, about normal. knowledge bowl started and is getting into full swing. we won knowledge master in the state again and took like 32nd in the world. not to bad. church is going good. tomorrow is a normal wednesday and then next week is our christmas party. i have to go in even earlier tomorrow (i normally get to church at 5 on wednesdays) because some people but up some christmas decorations and i didn't think some of them were but up the best (big blobs of duct tape holding them up etc.) so i am going to redo some of them. umm what else is happening in life as i know it. well i started listening to christmas music in my car lately cause it is christmas time. peder eide is the cd in the player right now (in case you were wondering) christmas is coming soon, for all of you who don't know what to get me cash is fine. lett me see what am i doing coming up. tomorrow church. thursday kb then probably going out for hot chocolate with lauren giving her a small christmas present before she goes home for the holidays, friday i will be going to staff reunion at camp saturday mornging i will be coming home and participating in kvly high school challenge, first again LPA and then if we win that we are in the championship round vs. east grand forks most likely. sunday church. you get the gist of it.

haven't done this in a while so

CELLULAR good movie. nice story and action. who knew biology would help out so much. a definate go see it's at the dolla fity. i think my star system was out of 5 so um 4 out of 5 stars.

BOURNE SUPREMACY already reviewed it but when it was new but now it is at the dollar fifty so you should all go see it for sure.

OCEANS 12 good movie definatly a sequel though. there were some things i didn't get in the plot line like why they did some things but i can't say what with out ruining it so. it was a good movie but it could have used some work. overall not to shabby if your in a pinch for money i don't know if it is worth 7 dollars but if you got some to spare go see it. if nothing else see it in about i billion years when it will finally get to the 1.50 theatre. 3.25 out of 5 stars

well thats all i have for now

Mark 2:10 "They saw the start and they were overjoyed"

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

the week (along witht he paper) is fiannly over. some how as i was walking through the halls yesterday the week seemed really short but wednesday seemed like a long time ago. not sure how that works. but hey. today is snow day for youth group. we planned it in aug. there should be snow by now. last year it was a like -30 out for snow day. oh well. then i am going to cellular with sam. good deal, good deal, who says that. someone i know  i am trying to think. maybe mandy j. i am not sure anyways. have fun. new pic of me by the bell tower.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

took sr pictures on friday with my brother at the camera. took a bunch at concordia and some at the tree and some on the bridge, the bridge was his idea, no good bridge pictures. one of the ones by the tree is my new profile pic. i have to take more in january after my hair cut says my mom. yeah my mom got a 2003 pt crusier. i am back to driving the quantum. i think thats all for now.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

so i haven't updated in while and i will in a little bit later in the entry but first here is the deal. there are some people that need prayer, there are a lot but here are just a few that i learned of today.
phil gardner's dad  (george) got diagnosed that he had cancer again and he traveled to mayo clinic today so he can undergo surgery tomorrow to have hie right arm and shoulder amputated. i learned this mornign and we had a big prayer gathering and it was really cool to see his attitupe about the whole thing and his full trust in God for everything. pray for george that he be healed. pray for the doctors taht they could have wisdom and pray for phil as he is home alone for a few days and pray for phils mom and the rest of the family.
bek reeves is in italy and was climbing a small cliff and some rocks gave way and she well and broke and arm and a leg and sprained her other arm and got hurt. she had surgery this monring but is still in pain and such. please pray for her comfort and thanking God that she was not hurt more than she was.
yeah we prayed for phils dad this morning at their house and here is a verse taht was shared that really spoke to me

Psalm 112
1Praise the LORD .
Blessed is the man who fears the LORD ,
who finds great delight in his commands.
7 He will have no fear of bad news;
his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD .
8 His heart is secure, he will have no fear;
in the end he will look in triumph on his foes.

yeah so here is the niggest news of the last few weeks in my life. my car blew up. my mom is looking to get a new one then my dad gets hers and i get the quantum again. looked at some prices for sound stuff for youth group. i really wish i had lots of money to get stuff that is really super good but i don't so hey. i am taking som sr pictures  tomorrow. who knows how that will go. i am also going christmas shopping tomorrow. spending aprox. 210 dollars getting aprox 150 back from mail in rebates... i have all my 5 brothers gift figured out and my dads still working on what to get for my mom.

well i should get going now i have to be up at 4:45 to take my dad to work tomorrow so that i can use the car to go shopping. remember to keep phil and bek in your prayers.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well so i haven't been on here in a while but hey..

coming up this wednesday is CHALLENGE 200. if we get 200 people to our youth group on wednesday all our pastors will bleach their hair. so you should all come. i will try invite you personally but if not it is 7-9(you can hang out later) at Salem E.F.C. 1002 10th ave south fargo you should all come it will be great fun. if you come you get to see me run sound, run the computer, run the lights, and sing all at the same time. it will be crazy fun.

i was goona have more of an update and less of an advertisement but i have to go now so take care

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

throwin down another update.

this weekend was busy for me i was working the autumnatics retreat at camp so i drove up there friday, drove back saturday morning for a teenvison concert, the had kvly high school challenge where we smoked fargo south and perham. then drove back to camp came back home sunday went right to worship team practice. then cam home home and took a nap. then i went to bed. food was good this weekend (there kaye i mentioned your food) tracy made me put on shoes before she would tell me what room i was in. tracy is a room nazi. "no room for you" i have come up with my new million dollar idea. i would tell you all but then you would steal it so... mum is the word.

and if you are over 18 tomorrow go and vote...

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

not much time to write so... capture the flag... great times.... open landing/bowling also great... seeing the thugs mom-styling it made my day. probably going to the haunted farm with lauren tomorrow. that should be good. does anyone know how scary it was cause she said she can only handle "mildly scary" i don't know. well i gotta jet. oh yeah sara i am really sorry if i hurt your feelings. didn't mean to. forgive me please.

In God'd Hands,
thomas kvamme

hey you,

so yesterady was fall fun day for youth group it was great fun out at the mcwethys farm the day consisted of football, volleyball, elimination, kickball, ditch, dodgeball, mad gab, catch phrase, pente, monopoly, food and lots more. anyway during ditch i was running and ran into a rock with my foot. it hurt my foot a little and scratched it some but the odd part is that it tore up my flipflop, the part that is under my foot. must have been God protecting my foot. today first was church, i was running powerpoint so i had to be there at 7:30 and i had to put back all the sound stuff from fall fun day so i wanted to be there early. alarm was set for 6:20 and 6:30 (dual alarm) but somehow got bumped from "really loud buzzer" setting to the "really quiet radio static" setting. i woke up at 6:59, looked at the clock and thought "thats not right..." got up got dressed. good tihng i showered last night. it was really dark out. mad me sort of sad. got to church did that. afterwards my parents and the i aswell as the other families in their small group went to mexican village. i feel sort of sorry for our server. there was like 25 people and the families weren't all next to each other so the seperate checks was a hassle. but she did pretty good. kept my refills coming. worship team practice after that. we have a great set for this wednesday. you should all come to hear it. some new school, some old school. all great. after that i came home and napped. it was a wonderful thing, oh beforei napped i went to the 99 center in fargo. that place is nice. its got a lot of art stuff. i got some canvas to do some spray paint on. its getting to cold for spray paint. i need to either get some sort of heating in the garage or convince my parents to let me do it in the basement. cold spray paint is not high quality. yeah. thats all

my weekend diffinately had a "mother like figure overload"
there was my mom and 20 other mom's that felt like being
like moms but since their kids were not there they decided
to be like moms to me i guess... i got a little bored
sometimes being there. i have worked womens retreats before
but there was less to do at a quilters retreat. at womens retreat there are at
least sessions and talks and things... at a quilt retreat
all they do is quilt eat and sleep. friday night i took a
drive into cooper and visited hannah k. and that helped a
little bit. saturday night emily and hannah duncan invited
me over for "girls night out" becasue their dad was hunting,
(i think their brother was hunting too but i don't know for
sure i just know that he was gone) but anyway we were going
to watch finding forester but ended up playing uno blitzo,
a very confusing game. i still don't fully understand it.
then we talked and hung out and stuff. just hanging out it
fun sometimes. well so then it was 1 in the morning before
we realized it so we called it a night. today i didn't wake
up untill 9:45 and that was very nice. after helping all the
ladies pack their cars i came back home to fargo/moorhead
and went right to church for worship team practice and them
i came home and just sat for a while ate some food and came
on the internet. hi too all the camp people who read this now.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

hey.. just droping another update before i leave for the weekend. going up to camp, me momma's store is having a quilt retreat so i am going and doing dishes and stuff and then ym momis making me carry all the ladies sewing machine and luggage and stuff. yeah...

don't know if there will be anything for me to do saturday and stuff so i am bringing all me stencil/spray pain stuff... sam i ma making one now that you will like it is a still form black hawk down of the guys dropping out of the helicopters. its sweet looking. yeah i am eating a pizza and then i am leaving... have fun being in school the rest of the day suckers.hahaha

on another note, you know how i said my flip flops were about to break, well they did this morning, i went flip fliop shopping yesterday and no where in the fargo moorhead area had any tat were big enough for me... here is a small section of the list of store i went to...walmart, 2
targets, kmart, american eagle, the buckle, pacsun, 2 payless stores, scheels and i think there might have been more. most of them didn't have any and the others only had really small sizes like 9's and smaller. so it is a good thing i had my back up flops. they are the basic 94 cent ones that i keep for when mine break and i don't ave new ones yet. like today... i think i a going to have to call me granda in vegas and tell her to get some there and mail them up or something. who knows... wearing the back ups for now

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

I am sort of amazed at how not smart people can be sometimes. Today in school I am walking down the hall and I see to people starting a fight (the first punch just thrown as I walk up)

That is the first stupid part, fighting in school a) fighting is not smart in the first place b) even less smart in school.

Then there is everyone crowding around, stupid part two, why do they not break it up? Then when i go in to break it up…

Ready here comes the really stupid part… I get them separated and some idiot pulls me out from in between them and says “no, let them fight”... there was really nothing I could do to get away from him without hurting him or making him want to fight me so I let it be. i really wanted to get him off me but I knew that would not end up good... I mean I could have taken him but still not good... if it weren’t in school maybe I would have been a little more apt to get him off me forcefully to break it up but yeah...

I don't get it. If you do explain

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

wow another new update you guys sure are lucky too.

well let me see where did i leave off. umm thursday... i think... well the weekend was good. played some football on saturday that was 2 hand touch below the waist and i really wish it would have been tackle cause then we could have gone with the whole "give it to me i will get it there" plan but we couldn't. still managed to do some good. played barefoot one of the best ways to go. speaking of that i need to get some new flip flops soon. for two reasons. 1) my current ones are starting to get close to the end and B) they won't be in stores much longer for a while. so i should get some soon. unless any of you want to buy them for me i would have no objections to that. i doubt that will happen so.

i have been working more on stencils. made a six layer one for a view from shotgun in the van on the way to the retreat. used it as my vacation sketch book assignment. the next assigned subject is hobby. what if my hobby is stencils can i make one of anything and call it good? oh well. gimme some ideas people. or if you want something for your self i might consider makeing them for comission. i thinkn this was about all i have to say.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

i am busting out a new update just for you... yes you.

well all is going well in the life of thomas.

lately i have been making stencils and using them with spray paint. if you have an idea for a stencil i will probably make one. its pretty neat. i might soon be using them to make some shirts. sam i made your monkey. what else is going on. not to much. this weekend is the fall retreat at big sandy, once again i am wearing all coopertown bible camp clothing to protest. cooperstown is way better. anyway. um yeah. i saw dodgeball this last weekend and will review it but i don't fell like writing more now so i am gonna make like a baby and head out first.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well here is the deal... i want to update but i don't want to take the time to type anything you know how it is sometimes. but anyway i am going to make a compromise. i will type a little bit and then copy abit

thursday was the third PST (pink shirt day) it went rather well, many participated with out knowing because of spirit week, pinkday. i want to know who picked those days and whether or not they knew of PST. if you have any information relating to this contact me. you all know how.

did some spray paint art for art class and got a 20/20. nice work for me

here is the bit i am copying it is a section from an email i recieved from Linn Veile. the email was titled Happy Friday and is a weekly "publication". it is great fun and here is a segment from this weeks "issue"

ZUCCHINI: THE OTHER NUCLEAR WASTE
Alright, I don't know how many of you have had experience with these delightful
(full sarcasm intended), garden-variety monsters, but they have tormented me at many
venues in my life. Let me go on record now as saying that the only good uses for
Zucchini are number one: some form of dessert bread (i.e. Zucchini bread or muffins)
and number two: target practice.
Have you ever grown these things in your garden? You CAN'T kill them. Believe me
I have tried. Nothing else could survive from the summer's gardening efforts and that
monstrosity would. It's (ready for this Princess Bride fans) inconceivable! lol While
the devious seed companies try to disguise them under different names like Italian
squash, Courgette, or Zapallo, they are distinguishable by their mug shot on the
front: Cylindrical and oblong shape with a medium, glossy, dark green color. Be ever
wary and on the look out!
People the solution to world hunger has been staring us right in the face for
years: Zucchini. If North Dakota's climate can't kill it, it should grow just about
any where. Part of the problem with having a bumper crop of Zucchini, is that
everyone else has one too. This means that everyone is trying to pawn their extra
Zucchini off on everyone else. LOCK YOUR DOORS!!! It only takes you one time to learn
your lesson there. I'm serious! Have you ever walked out from church to find the back
seat of your car filled with Zucchini, or come home from town to find some kind soul
has left you a grocery bag full of the stuff? The innocent pranks of some juvenile
looking for laughs? I think not. Something much more sinister is afoot here. (As a
note for future reference: little old ladies are quicker than you might expect.)
As my siblings can attest to, we have been subjected to more than our fair
share of Zucchini concoctions: fried Zucchini rounds, stir fried, baked, Zucchini
hotdish, Zucchini soup, Zucchini lasagna (which I have to say tastes pretty good, but
I can't get past the texture), and chocolate Zucchini cake (to name a few). Our mum
is very creative when it comes to ways to use this notorious produce. (I love you
Mom!) I understand that I was pretty fortunate to be at college this week as they
were having a bit of a See How Much Zucchini You Can Cook and Eat marathon at home.
(Don't worry Patty, I made Mom promise she would suspend the competition until after
the weekend concludes. hehe) In fact, today my mother informed me that she thought
"Zucchini should be people too," and we should have another shirt made for
it.  My roommate and I promptly informed her that, that only works for potatoes. (If
you haven't heard that story let us know.)
So in conclusion, let me suggest this: if we were to harness the tremendous
energy that this plant produces while growing and multiplying, we could indeed have a
power source to rival that of nuclear fission.

That is all for today folks. take care

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

Pink Shirt Thursday went great. nice work all of you who wore pink keep it up the rest of the thursdays to come. for those of you who don't have any pink shirt go to savers or any other thrift store. i am sure that they will have one. if you are going to go to savers i suggest mondays, all tags of a certian color are only 99 cents.

friday was a good day too, no pink shirts but still good. school and all that normal jazz. lauren came over around 8 and we went for a long walk and then we watched "master and commander" it was a good night

today is saturday and moorhead crushed valley city in kvly highschool challenge. 700 to 375 they did pretty well. their score would have won other matches taped earlier today but it came no where near us. 700 is the most points that any of us morrhead peeps have heard of anyone getting. congrats to all of you on the team with me. i am thinking of going over to concordia to draw people. i started drawing people in math class but i can't ever get faces to look right so i need to ldraw people facing the other way and preferably without their hands visible. there are a bunch of people out reading/laying in the sun. i bet i could find someone i could draw.

well i am out. did you know that tiaga and coniferous forests are the same thing? cause charlie johnson didn't... or that 5/3 is 1.66666 or that commander in cheif is another title for president...there were some more he didn't know but oh well

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well heres the deal i am going to post again... got it... good

well thursday i wore my new pink SHINE shirt and everyone is like "yeah pink is the new color for guys this year" and so because of that...well not really... more because pink is a great color i am instituing pink shirt thursdays... everyone needs to wear a pink shirt. guy girl young old rich and poor will be joined together in the wearing of pink...

this weekend was the teen vision begining of the year retreat. it was good. sleep depriving but warmer than last weekend.

this coming weekend is the taping of moorhead vs. valley city in the kvly high school challenge. we are gonna kick butt. i will find out when it will air cause i know you all want to watch it.

today i went to savers toget some 99 cent hoodies but ther were none... and i am not just talking none in my size. not a one. i was disappointed to say the least

here is a special shout out to TJ... here's looking to you kid.

everyone remember wear a pink shirt thursday.

In God's Hands,

hello.

friday went up to camp for the labor day weekend. my job was sound and adventure program. sambo and cutenose and i had to sleep in the duncans pop up trailer camp was so full. it was freakin cold during th night like 40 degrees in that camper. monday (after all our cold nights were over) mr. duncan told us there wasa heater in there.... grrr... oh well it was a good weekend other than that. ummm what else... oh yeah started school. on the first day in four clases (we have block scheduling now for those of you who don't know) i had one test, one quiz, and one questionaire. oh well... my classes should be pretty fun. intro to art... might get a little boring sometimes cause i think i will know most of the stuff we will cover... i mean my dad used to be an art teacher... i learned a little bit from hit... ap world lit... j mac seems to be a good guy... ap calc...eidsness is great i have know her for like 6 years now or something... i know she will bug me alot about math league and i should be in it again but i can't so oh well...ap gov and pol... should be a good discussion class... i actually said something about current events (politics) that bob didn't know today i was surprised... youth group started tonight... it went really well... great start to the 04-05 year.... thats all i got for now... i decided to use a whole lot of these... in this post so if you don't like it sue me... i mean give me money and i will stop

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well i wanted to update but i don't really want to write that much we will se what happens. i got another hmm letter today it is also a really really good one. had some good things in it. umm what else. oh yeah teusday i ate lunch at NDSU with ryan d. and austin v. it was nice..good food for free, never a bad thing. going to camp tomorrow gone untill monday then school starts tuesday so yeah. thats all i have for now i think. oh yeah i have decided to put this next item to a vote---should i keep my reviews to theatre movies or should i also review movies i see dvd/vhs style? its up to you my adoring public.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

Well here i am again. sunday was a good day. first was church. had the grill out. that made my arm feel weird for the rest of the day. it spatula i was using was about 4 feet long and pretty heavy so it worked my arm muscles alot. i was shaking for a little while afterwards. when i came in after we were done grilling to eat i tried to squeeze the ketchup bottle to put some on my burger and i couldn't do it. i was squeezing as hard as i could and nothing came out. i attempted to switch hands but my right hand could not hold up my plate so i put my plate on the table and took the ketchup with my left hand and put it on my burger.

after church i came home and did nothing for a while. then i was online talking with sam and we decided to go to day after tomorrow (review will be at the end of post) and so i rush over to the cheap seats because it was 5 minutes till the start when we decided to go and then as i am pulling into the parking lot i think "why the stink did i rush over here. it is going to take sam at least 15 minutes to get here...." oh well. after we got out of the movie it was pouring rain out side really hard....we had just gotten out of  movie about huge really bad storms and then its raining stinkin hard. sorta funny

after the movie i went to pastor kents to hang out for a while left that early and went to prism at bethel to see people. i missed the first part of worship but i was in time for some still. saw people at the end it was  good time.

ok what you all have been waiting for

the review of The Day After Tomorrow. the day after tomorrow in case you don't know is a story about the (possible) effects of global warming and polar ice caps melting and the effects that would cause in the weather. the movie starts out a little slow but it has to in order to set up all you need to know for the movie to make sense. there are a few too many close calls for my liking. i mean come on we all know that the main character is not going to die. for the girls out there they threw in a little love story for you. they mixed it in well its not like other movies where it seems so disconnected from the rest o the plot. the best part of the movie is the middle. the end seems a little to story book. overall not to bad though. its at the dollar fifty check it out. i give it 3 and a quarter out of 5 stars

oh yeah i forgot to mention earlier. it feels really good when people run to you to give you hugs. so to those of you who ran and hugged me thanks for that

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

I have decided to become more like Ryan Kahly a.k.a. shaggyyak and rate movies I have seen in the theatre recently. Then if you have seen them, you can give your comments too. I will start with a great many movies this first time then I will rate more as I see them.

Last Saturday I saw The Bourne Supremacy. Wow, that was a pretty great movie. Nice action. Different from the first one enough to be good and still enough the same to hold the two together. To quote my friend Kevin "this movie proves that Julia Stiles can act" and I fully agree. I mean come on guys when she is scared that has to be some of the best acting I have seen in a while and scared is a tough one to do. one thing I have to say about this movie though... if you have seen it you will know what I mean... isn't it nice how that file cabinet fit right under the door handle I would give this movie at least 4 and a half out of 5 stars

Monday I saw King Arthur. It was all right. A very original spin on the whole king Arthur story. Supposedly the "true story of King Arthur" I don't know if it is any truer than the other stories we have heard or not but it makes a good movie. It was a little tough to learn which of the knights were which of the knights. I still don't know some of the names (well I know the names just not which person had which name) but I tell you that archer knight shooting the traitor. I want to say more about the shot but I also don't want to give it away incase there are some of you who haven't seen this movie yet. This movie is playing in the dollar fifty theatre, it is definitely worth a dollar fifty to see this movie. I might not have been worth 7 dollars plus snacks but how can you pass up the movie for $1.50? I’ll say it gets 3 and a half stars out of 5.

Today I saw the movie The Manchurian Candidate. This movie was a remake of the 1962 movie of the same title starring Frank Sinatra and Angela Lansbury. This movie was very good. I went into this movie having seen and liked the first one so I had a few disappointments. Two of my favorite parts were not in the new movie, and one of the very key things was missing but I can't say what that was without giving away a great deal so I will keep my mouth shut. But putting those few things behind me this movie was very good. It is definitely a thinker movie or a "huh what is going on...oh now I get it" movie. The filmography style keeps the viewer wondering what is real and what is not. I recommend this movie to those of you who like to be kept on your toes. I’ll give it 4 stars

To explain a little bit about my rating system. Yeah stars=good like normal but you have to understand my thinking. A perfect five will be very hard to get. I don't know if it will ever happen. You probably will not see very many 1's or 2's either, if I am going to go to a movie then I am usually sure that it is at least ok. So yeah maybe some two's who knows.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well i was on here and decided to update...aren't you lucky

friday morning i had to wake up at like 9 and go to my mothers work (rae-bon quilting and sewing) with her because they were moving stuff so i had to go move it all for them... i thought it would be a little thing like move this there now you are done but no i was there untill like 1 or something. so if you go there you had better appreciate the way all the things on the wall with windows are organized.

so then wheni got home i found that i got another letter from my hmm...(if you know what that is then you will get what i am talking about if you don't then you probably won't understand this paragraph) that made friday a very good day. there were some good things in the letter i liked it very much.

saturday i had a meeting for the upperclassmen of teen vision planning the year and things like that. coming up with a theme and shirt color and all that jazz.

sunday i was supposed to run powerpoint at chuch because bob was sick and i was supposed to be there at 7:30 and my alarm didn't really wake me up like it was supposed to so my mom woke me up at 8:31 and was like "its 8:31" and so i was like "oh crap" i made to church in record time. i got there at 8:36. in the after noon we had a youth group worship team meeting. then after that i went home and had a nap.the went to bekahs and hung out there. came home stayed up a while then slept

today so far i have woken up...went back to bed...woken up again... went back to bed... finally gotten up...gotten the mail...got another letter for the stupid poetry.com saying they want to publish me in an attempt to make me buy thier book for like billion dollars. then i came on here and wrote on this....

on my last update bek commented...bek if you read this update tihs is for you...we should hang out some time contact me some how...email thomaskvamme@praisethelord.co.uk or call me or whatever...if you do call know i am not a phone person so don't be offended if i don't talk on the phone much...

if you are not bek but know her e-mail i would appreciate it if you could tell me cause i can't find it so yeah.

if anyone wants to go bowling some time ...but not tuesday night or friday saturday cause i have to keep those days open

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well these last few days i have been doing stuff at church to make the youh room more beautiful for the coming year. painting cleaning moving stuff like that you know....tomorrow i am helping kent move a piano and i might head up to cooper to get all the things that i had to leave since sam has a small car. i would be sleeping now but i just put my bed together and was washing the sheets and then forgot to start the dryer so they are not dry theyare drying now. oh well. it works out good for you cause you get this nice update from me. well so if any one wants to do anything some time then you can give me a call. you know my number...if not there is this nifty thing called a phone book some guy today set the world record and ripped 29 in half in 3 minutes...do give me the "he ripped my phone book" excuse cause he ripped philidelphia phone books up. well my sheets should be dry now so i will see you later.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well camp is officially over and it doesn't feel like it at all. i have been there for 10 weeks and it feels like only 2 or 3. i am ready to go back for another 7 still but i can't cause there is no more camp. i am at hannah k's house for tonight in cooper and i should be coming home tomorrow but who really knows for sure. i am coming home with sam and there was not much room for my stuff (ford escort is what he drives) i had half a trunk of space and i have way more than a half of trunk of stuff so i just left a bunch of it there and i am going to go back and get it some time hopefully soon. not to much to write right now i will probably post some stories later. ask me about the summer when you see me. here are some quotes about me that i heard these past few days.

"thomas, you are gorgeous" - hannah k
"thomas, you have an amazing bowel system" - jon s
"thomas, i love you" - sam b
"thanks buddy" - levi d

thats all i got for now see you all sometime soon probably

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well here comes another update. for some reason this one seems to be in a different font so i will see if i can change that. but anyway. i am going to be here for another week, so all of you know. i will be here untill the 14th or 15th or something like that. i will not be here for worship arts camp because there is no longer a worship arts camp because not enough people signed up. but so i still am lacking mail so you guys need to send me some so that i have some mail. remember if i don't get mail i won't come home. i have gotten some mail but not very much so i need some mail...please...please

Ok well this will be a little bit less of a plea for mail but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't send any. i am at camp right now. it is the middle of junior high 2 week. normally the biggest week of the summer. but there are only 65 campers this week and 4 horse campers. oh well. next week is junior 2 (4-6 grade) then it is senoir high (10-graduate) and then it is eagle wing a camp for under privalaged kids from the bismarck mandan area that is paid for totally by offerings through out the summer. after that i am home for a week then i am back for worship arts camp. then i am home for a week then it is labor day family camp then i am home for a week and then it is the teen vision retreat here. i am gonna be here alot... oh well... i really need to go to bed now i can't think straight... well some of my salem peeps were up here yesterday and this is the deal i made with them... if they don't send me mail then i am not coming home. so you guys and girls should send me some mail.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

Hey there.

so monday morning  sambo and i are going to camp and to set stuff up so i pick him up at 8:30 and we are driving along 1-29 to get to 1-94 and i was following a truck and all of the sudden i see a big pot hole and i mean big... it was like 4 feet long and pretty deep... well ididn't see it in time cause of the water spray from the truck. and i hit it then my reight rear started making noises so we got off and pulled into the holidy inn parking lot to check it out and my right rear strut was all not where it was suppoesd to be so we drove to the radio station to see what my dad thought. anfter a little bit of discussion i took his SHO to camp and he took mine and was gonna get it looked at... ends up i need new rear struts... well i sorta needed them before but i really need them now and they have to order them so i get to take the SHO to camp for the summer, at least for the first part.

well anyways me and sambo got alot done and it was a good time but i didn't get home till 12:30 making that not a full day...crazy... then i go to write my lit paper. boy was that fun. was up till two tried going to bed work up to do more work at 4. but i got it done. and its pretty good if you ask me. took two days of finals today since i am going tot be gone tomorrow. that went better than i expected.

Well tomorrow morning is off to camp. hope to see some of you there and i will see the rest of you when i get back i guess. take care. i will try update every once in a while.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

oh my goodness. open houses are some of the best things ever soooo much food and i can eat all i want...for free... we should have these things more often. that is all i have been doing (almost since friday) here is a funny story fom saturday

i was going to one open house
for my friend named chris and he lives at 1517 8th
st n but i wrote down 1517 8th ave north. i got to 1517 8th
ave and it was appartments and i thought to myself "he
doesn't live in an aparment. maybe that 5 is supposed yto be
a 3" so i drove by 1317 8th ave and there was a sign out
side that said "happy graduation" so i parked and was
walking up sort of cautiously becaue i didn't know whether
or not this was his house. then i saw people carring
envelopes that said CHRIS on them so i went in and there was
a little entry way room and a guy standing in it he said "hi
whats your name" i replied "thomas, what is your name" he
answered chris. at this point i thought to myself "either
chris kastner is having this guy great for him or i am at
the wrong house" then this guy says "sign the guest book and
there is food over there." so i step into the next room and
look at all the walls to see if i can find a clue of whose
house this is and i see a big family picture with the uy in
the entry way in it so i quietly snuck out. that made me
feel sorta stupid. oh well. its a funny story.

i have never felt so much like i could pop before except for after the fire and ice pancake eating contest.... if you see me ask me about it ... great story but not in type form.

well i realized today that i am home one full day from now untill aug 8th.  tomorrow i go to camp to set up sound things and the projector and other stuff of that nature. tuesday i am home taking all my finals. wednesday morning i leave for camp then if i am home during the summer it is just for weekends which would be sat afternoon till sun afternoon. well

be sure to wirte me....see info below

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well i haven't really been doing that much lately besides school and geting ready for camp. a large part of me feels like it is march... and another large part of mee feels like it should be camp now cause i don't want to wait untill next week. oh well. so here is whats going down for the next while.  friday/saturday i will be cleaning my room and going to open houses. sunday church/open houses/ and maybe still cleaning my room. monday sambo and i are going to camp to set up sound stuff and the projector and things of that nature. tuesday school. last day for me wednesday. heading up bright and early to camp. then it is camp for the rest of the summer. i highly suggest to all of you that you should come camp. Sr High week is july 26-31. you can get a whole lot of info about it at www.cooperstownbiblecamp.com but if you can't come to camp here is how you can get ahold of me. you can write me the good ol' fashioned way by writing a letter and mailing it to

Thomas Kvamme

or you can get an email to me by sending it to tjohnson@invisimax.com and put my name in the subject line, it will get passed along to me. i might be able to use email on the weekends, or when i come home for a few of the weekends. but i promise i will write you back if you write me

For those of you who do decide to come to camp either to camp or just to visit me here are directions: (this is how i get there...there is a point on county 25 that there is a sign that says Cooperstown Bible Camp with an arrow, you can follow that if you want it is less confusing but mine is quicker.)(once you get on gravel there are no road signs on some thus i could not put road numbers on some of them)

Go West on I-94
Get off at Oriska Exit 302
Turn right onto Hwy 32
After aproximately 18.4 miles turn left onto Hwy 26
After aproximately 8.5 miles turn right onto County 27
County 27 changes into County 25
After aproximately 10.1 miles turn left onto County 22
After aproximately 1.1 miles turn left
After aproximately 1.8 miles turn right (there is a sign that says turn left...ignore it)
After aproximately 2.5 miles turn left into Cooperstown Bible Camp

Thats how you get there. everyone should come to Sr High. but if you are going to come visit me on a saturday or something you probably want to contact me to make sure that is not one of the few weekends i am coming home. camp is usually done at 12ish on saturdays.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well i haven't been on much lately and for that i am sorry. but anyways. school is almost done. june second is the first day of staff training at cooperstown bible camp where i will be working for the summer. i am trying to rearrange all the test from the last day of school so i can make it on time. it starts at 10:00. if not i am leaving as soon as i can after i am done. all of you should come camp this summer. if not you should just come visit on a weekend some time. i will put up nore info on how to get a hold of me during the summer. i will try update when i can but who knows. oh yeah i am going to be videographer this summer. i didn't mention that. my job is mainly to video tape and make a highlight video of each week to be shown at the closing meeting on saturday mornings. i am also to make a promo video for jeff kossow (the director) to show when he is visiting churches. also i will be doing alot with the running of sound and running the computer for slides during worship and chapel. please pray that i can handle all that is on my plate this summer. thanks

Trivia: when did i start wearing flip flops.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

My internet wasn't working for a while so i wa not able to update so here comes a big one.

Wednesday: school, church great fun, started new curriculum

thursday: school, knowledge bowl, came home, i napped. napping is great

friday: school, lockin for church at oak grove. it was nice. volleyball, football, basketball, food, videogames, talking, wrestling, jumping off bleachers onto the mats

Saturday: lock untill 8 help putting stuff back at church got home about 9:30 slept untill 2 went upstairs slept on couch untill 5 went back down slept untill 7:30 did laundry and accidentally left my watch on my pants that went into thewash stinko. there goes the watch.

Sunday: i was running power point for bot services cause someone was sick or something.then i was talking with jeff kossow from cooperstown bible camp and other people for a while. then jeff, doug myself and eventually jeff's daughter becky went to olvie garden. i don't really like the salad there...maybe its just the dressing. and there was no meat in my speghetti.oh well then it was worship team practice at church. then bible study. we spent the whole time trying to find out where some visitors lived so we could go welcome them and give them cookies. we searched high and low and could not find out where they lived. we did everything from looking online to calling one of the boys home room teachers. oh well. it was fun trying.

Monday: school. teen vision practice. i was going to be jesus for a human video but there was just one problem. i am to large. there is a scene where they nail me to the cross and then lift me up so the cross is upright, noone could lift me up. TV practice gotn done early, went to the park game the did great. towards the end i thought they were going to put andy kaul in  cause after the time out with 2something minutes left. he was tieing his shoes up tight and i was like "yeah andy is going in" then he finished with his shoes and leaned back in his chair and i was like "oh....maybe not...."

Tuesday: school, KB practice

Wednesday: had some gift certifiacates so i went to hardees for brekfast got a combo and "upsized to get a soft drink" as their menu says then i got a six pack of the cinnamon raisin biscut things. went to school left for knowledge bowl subreigns. 3 moorhead teams advanced to regins along with a morris team an alex team and a fergus team. park made in in middle school and are now in big school for regions so we will se them on tuesday

Thursday: school, knowledge bowl practice. i left early and went over to park. went to their knowledge bowl practice. that was pretty fun park game that night. the ended up loosing cause the refs we poopy and called no fouls against UH but about a billion against us. oh well. now everyone gets to go to districts. the announcer was sorta bad at keeping track of team fouls. i once heard him say "thats his 3rd personal foul, teams first" oh well.

Friday:school. had to calen some for my mom my brother came home for the weekend with "battlefield vietnam" it is sucha a good game

Saturday: nothing yet just updating this/

well knowledge bowl regions is tueday. three teams advance from that to state. i am thinking it will be moorhead 1 and 2 and park 1 but we never know

well nathan got the trivia from the last real long time so i owe him a pie. i have been busy so i haven't made it yet but sometime i will.

here is the NEW TRIVIA
from now on (at least for a little while) there will be 2 trivia questions. 1 will be real trivia stuff. the other will be trivia about me.
REAL TRIVIA: what kind of dog was toto from the wizard of oz
ME TRIVIA: what color were my first pair of flipflops and when did i get them (this is a two part question you need both to get it right)

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

someone once asked me how I managed to break a floor, i explained to them it was a combination of standing on it and weighing alot.

Wednesday: finished up my pine wood derby car raced it. i got second one of the races. mine definately looked the coolest i had custom letters on it, i made them out of electrical tape it was stylin'

Thursday: moorhead knowledge bowl invitational meet at concordia. we did really good. team two got off a little slow but then we kicked it into high gear and got 4th. not to shabby. we are hoping to take 3 teams to state this year. for hose of you who don't know how knowledge bowl works. 6 teams advance from subregions, 3 from regions and then it is state so if weget three teams to state thats really good.

Friday: school, not going to camp i was going to but they group that was going to be there and needed chld care wasn't going to need child care so i had nothing to do.

Saturday: cleaned my room, moved my amp across the room. i took the cardboard off my windows i can see light when i wake up again...as opposed to before when i would wake up at one and think it was still early cause there was no sun.

Sunday: student leadership team meeting. church. came home for spegetti went back for worship team practice. then it was "pizza and prayer" for those of you who have heard andy kevernens song "how could i not give my life to you" or something like that...does it sound like "come just as you are" to you?

Monday: school, teen vision practice no time to make a new cutout art thing. oh well

Tuesday: school, made up a test for espanol. i knew like none of the vocab. i bet i did pretty bad. kb practice. had a wendys three quarter pounder for supper...#3 biggie sized ...mmmmmmm

so i realized on sunday that my second half of april is going to be really busy. 14th is dinner theatre for the youth group 16th and 17th for everyone. 19-20 is state knowledge bowl and after that i am going to nashville for the gospel music association conference. so i am gonna be busy. but it all should be fun so yeah

Trivia: no one has gotten it yet so i am officially offering a pie as the reward for getting this trivia it was first introduced about 3 weeks ago.... here it is again....remember this is for a pie

finish these lyrics
somebody saw what i went through, and undestood had been there too, so glad they _________________________

bonus points go to whoever tells me who is singing it. (its not who you think it is) (well it might be that depends on who you think it is)

UPDATE--Nathan has gotten the lyrics. he has however not gotten the artist he was colse but close only count in horseshoes and handgrenades. the artist is still out there... nathan requested a choclaty pie so i will get him that...somebody can still get the artist

have a great week.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

Hey so here we are agian.

Wednesday: school, teen vision concert in borup however you spell it... it went pretty well except i was still sicker than i should be so i couldn't sing the last two songs

Thursday: school, kb practice. i think i am forgetting something...

Friday: school. man i can't remember what i did this day either. if anyone knows tell me.

Saturday: worked on pine wood derby car

Sunday: church, was going to be snow day but it was rain day...that was fun...hanging at church playing pit.  then there was supper and the veritas concert. it was pretty good.

Monday: tri college math... i got 22...chen is amazing he got 29 on the high school one, on the jr high one he got 50 out of 50 plus he got all of the tie breakers right and that was even with taking a bathroom break in the time limit....he is a math stud, school...teen vision practice in moorhead i went there at 6:15 no one there....i waited untill 6:40 still noone so i came home exciteing huh

Tuesday: school, knowledge bowl practice, home working on PWDC (pine wood derby car) updating this

Trivia: no one has gotten the last one yet so here is the deal... there is an actual prize now. it will be good i am not sure what it is yet but it will be worth it.

i had a fun story to relate... i can't think of it now.

In God's Hands,
abraham kvamme

1, 2, look out for my crew, cause we be rockin' it and nobody knew

Wednesday: school, church. everyone left way erlier than they usually do. i am usually the last one (or one of the last ones) to go, and so most everyone had been gone for a while so i was getting my stuff together and bekah (also usually one of the last ones to leave)(we leave about the same time) was like "are you leaving already" and i was like "uhhh..." then i looked at the clock and saw that it was 9:27 and then was like "no i guess not" then i stayeda while longer.

Thursday: school, knowledge bowl practice. i can't remember if there was anything else.

Friday: school, left after luch for the knowledge bowl meet at chaska. bus ride was fun. then we went to the mall of america. i don't see whats that great about it. its just a big mall. there was a video crew taping us for a while.we have no clue what for. i was about to go up to them and pretend to be really mad and demand that they give me the tape. but the were a level above us so that would be too much work.

Saturday: meet. we didn't do to bad. 4th and 10th and two other places lower than that. we need to work on our buzzing. all the KBer's ou there will get this next statement. "we turned left"

Sunday: student leadership team meeting at church. church. michael ethan and i meet at church at 4 to jam. bible study at pastor kents house at 6 good times.

Monday: sick no school for me.

Tuesday: see above. i got really bored

so no one has gotten the trivia from last week yet so it will still stand as the trivia

i am putting up a new picture. it is not of me. i found a picture of this guy on mamma.com then i photoshopped it and made it all cool looking and made it match my background.

well my belly button may be an innie but i'm outie

In God's Hands,
abraham kvamme

well where should i start....probably right after where i left off last time.

Wednesday: school, got out an hour early making me miss espanol class again... i like that class. since school got let out early it is our churches policy to not have church then so we didn't. that was no fun but at least i found out this time before i got there.

Thursday: school. knowledge bowl practice. we did individuals. it was bob, sam, cassie, annie, stevie and i. bob and i got 20 each stevie and sam got 14 each cassie got 6 and annie got 3. that made me feel good. got home my mom was like "you got a call...from a girl" which was odd cause i usually only get calls from girls right before student leadership stuff about student leadership stuff, so i was confused as to who it was. then bekah called and said "we are setting up for the valentines dinner tomorrow and need you to come help with sound stuff and light stuff"...then it made sense again. so i went. we were there till 11:30 setting up it was fun but hard but fun. if i wasn't there i am pretty sure all the girls (it was supposed to be just girls setting up, i was the only guy) would have killed each other. i have never seen anybody get so worked up over tool. oh well

Friday: school came home showered (that makes it twice that day) went to finish some set up for the valentines dinner at church. had the valentines dinner at church, it was great fun. played games after, gave andy and ellie a ride home after. ellie admited she was a grandma driver.

Saturday: went back and set up all the sound stuff by myself. i can't remember if i did anything else that day, oh yeah i saw miracle. its pretty good. some of the stuff brooks did reminded me of the stories i have heard of shower from park.

Sunday: had two concerts for teen vision. they went good... mostly. i was sick (still sorta am) and was singing to much and almost threw up while singing  OVERFLOW. after that had practice for worship team at church and found that dave and tim moved all my sound stuff that i set up. grrrr. but then there was the whole bowling fiasco after that. bible study at kents house. it was pretty cool we were talking about all the ways that God was working in our church this year. after that a few of us went to sarahs house to hang out. we watch a walk to remember but talked through most of it. we dicided that we wanted to go out to eat before the open youth room on monday so sarah said i needed to call her... i protested and said that she should call me cause i am not a phone person. that didn't work... i had to call her at 9:45 in the morning

Monday: so i set my alarm to 8 to get but but i kept hitting snooze and at about 9:15 9:30 i turned it off cause i was up and it was just getting annoyed by it. i guess i felll back asleep, so my mom supposedly woke me up and told me sarah was on the phone, I have no recollection of this, so I guess I went back to sleep and then I was woken up about 10 minutes later when my mom walked by the phone and saw it still sitting there, picked it up and said “did he ever come to the phone” and Sarah told her no, so my mom yelled at me and said “Sarah is waiting on the phone for you”…that is the first thing I remember from this morning...anyway we decided on duanes on university. went there at 11:30 then went to open house. we had a paper airplane contest from the balcony of the sanctuary. it was great... i won one back in like 4th grade so i was the definding champ...and i shure defended my title and kept it with a new record. then we playd water spoons. teen vision practice after that it went well.

Tuesday: i didn't do that much today. mostly watched tv and movies and the like.

well sambo didn't like my trivia question from last time cause he thought it was biased... i guess it sorta was but i needed someone other than sambo or ruby to win but now i will go back to unbiased questions. by the way the anser was "don quixote de la mancha" i think i am going to give nathan one point for saying don quixote first and michael 1/2 a point for saying "don quixote de la mancha" the full title

new trivia: finish these lyrics
somebody saw what i went through, and undestood had been there too, so glad they _________________________

bonus points go to whoever tells me who is singing it. (its not who you think it is) (well it might be that depends on who you think it is)

here is some funny quotes from the lead guy from skillet explaining his lyrics to the song "kill me heal me"

"where i come from, i'm from mephis tennessee, where i come from we pronounce kill keel, so you have keel and heal, it rhymes"

"someone asked me what happens if somebody only hears that line and think that your like into mastakism...mas...o...chis...m its over two syllables, i'm a lead singer.... what if they think you're into hurting yourself  he said"

In God's Hands,
abraham kvamme

well here come another one.

Friday: school, went to cassie's for a "night before the knowledge bowl meet party" it was really fun... did lots of stuff including watching VICTORY with slyvester stalone with great quotes like "officially they do not exist" and things of that nature

Saturday: woke up at four, readied myself for the day, went to walmart, bought a card to mail to lauren, got to fryn' pan at 5. ate "rosies special breakfast", got on the bus at 6 left for little falls KB meet, waited till 7 to write the card cause someone made a no lights before 7 rule. got there. we did really good at the meet. moorhead got 3,4 and 21. pretty good cause these people are the ones we are going up against at state most likely and we normally play people like ashby and pelican rapids (no offense to them they just don't offer much challenge) but it lets us see what we need to work on. bob and i are really excited for next year when cause all the teams that beat our teams are all seniors...and some of the teams we beat too.

Sunday: student leadership team meeting at church, then gave a concert at knollbrook in fargo right after that for their service...went to silkas for lunch. came home was catching up on my sleep and slept till when i was supposed to be at "pizza and prayer" for church and was gonna get up and go but then next thing i remember it was after it would be over...i must have fallen back asleep.

Monday: school, liv came back (she was in france for last semester).... i am trying to convince her that when people ask her how it was she should say "it was french" but she won't do it. teen vision practice. stevie dunkel started...tony came (not moorhead tony) it was fun

Tuesday: school, knowledge bowl practice. nap. 24. my dad tells me we are going to get a snowblower and i am happy then he says not today... i am not as happy thats about it

answer to trivia: sambo got it...he and ruby have gotten all my trivia so far
trivia: here is a tough one as to not let sambo ro ruby get it...maybe they still will "what book are we reading in spainish class right now?" i know other people can get this before they do so get it take their title.

see you all later, take care

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

so round and round we go

Tuesday: school. knowledge bowl practice nothing out of the ordinary

Wednesday: knowledge bowl meet. moorhead took 1,2,3 and 5. our teams 1,2,3 were in 1st 2nd and 3rd all day...no offense to ashby and pelican but they aren't super competition...can't wait for saturday

Thurday: school. KB practice... we have another meet on saturday. it is the little falls invitational known as LUCKY LINDY TOURNEY cause they always have questions on him except they didn't last year. came home. paul and "neighbor girl" were here we watched old school superman cartoons and then i feel asleep. woke up later neighbor girl left paul was still here...then he left...CSI was cool tonight. the casino part the other part was just wierd.

so this weekend is the knowledge bowl meet on saturday. we leave from fryn' pan at 5:45 so a bunch of us are going early to eat. it is gonna be more fun haviing real compitition like chaska and st thomas. they are most likely who we will face at state. sunday i have student leadership team at church and i have to leave early from that and then teen vision has a concert at knollbrook church in fargo. then sunday night is the first pizza and prayer thing that should be fun.

trivia: ruby won the elephant thing but i am giving megiddy points aswell for knowing all the other things about elephants
new trivia: there is a selection of lyrics on this page somewhere...more specifically in this post, forst to find them and tell me the artist from whom the lyrics came wins...that is the contest

well thats all i got for now

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well here i am again.

saturday: i can't remember at all what i did that was a long time ago.

sunday: student leadership team meeting, then church. then andy and i went to taco shop with annie and carly. next andy and i went to best buy to look at all the cool stuff we can't afford. off to barnes and noble i got my cool new notebook. worship team practice at church, bowling at sunset, bugertime, bible study at kents. that day i spent 13 hours with andy it was great fun

monday: started the new semester. here are my classes for all who were wondering 1free 2accpretrig-schu 3physics-toll 4elect-kinse 5pysch-erik 6aplit-cos 7espanol-ferg, teen vision practice got canceled that night cause of the weather...what a bunch of sissys

tuesday: school, kb practice, nothing else

wednesday: school ok so heres the deal . wednesday worship team practices before youth group at 5:30 so i usually go at 5 to get stuff set up but this time i went early to beat traffic i got there at 4:40 so i set stuff up and and hanging around up in the youth room then at about 5:40 andy kvernen comes up and is like "are you the only one here?" and i reply "yeah i guess everyone else is running late today" and he is like "you know that youth group got cancelled tonight right?" yeah so i was there for an hour and there wasn't even youth group yay

thursday: school kb practice

trivia: sambo won the last one
new trivia: what is the only animal with 4 knees?

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

here comes another crazy update

saturday/sunday: ski trip was great. i was doing lots of jumps and things so my calves got sore on monday.... there was a culvert you sould go through that was pretty cool

monday: went bowling for open youth room... i did ok for only one game (it takes me about three to warm up) then had teen vision practice. we had practice in barnesville and so on the way there i was napping and i woke up and we were at like mile marker 47 or something (way to far) i still don't know why

tuesday: school. knowledge bowl practice, 2 strips didn't work... our computer is so ghetto...apple II... then we had our lugg (learning under God's guidance, for church each grade/gender, so for me 11th grade boys) week thing.... we palyed video games and ate pizza... a night of hanging with the guys is pretty fun.

wednesday: school. the girls for their lugg thing were making us supper...so we decided tuesday night that we would suprise them by dressing up and getting flowers. grant, phil and i arrived at pam's within 30 seconds of each other. apparently what happened inside while we were walking up went something like this "it looks like thomas is wearing a suit...grant is dressed up too....pam! what do you have in your closet?" the meal was really good...then we played some games... boys won...

thursday: my dads car didn't start so he took my moms and she took mine...school, finals...lunch went to burger time and then we didn't know where to go to eat and we were sorta pointed in the direction of rubys house so we went there and she was all like "its so messy" and it wasn't at all... back to school with a minute left to get to class. after school i needed to change my schedule cause they put me in espanol dos insetead of espanol tres... i had to wait in line for litteraly an hour and fifteen minutes...thanks to guermo for staying for part of that and thanks for nathan for hanging out the whole time and then giving me a ride home. i did my english project in about 20 minutes at 11ish and started my psych study guide at 12ish ...after taht was done i wrote a letter... its odd i write letters at night time...who knows why

friday: car situation same as above. finals again...lunch we went to mickey d's... psych...then i cam home my father and i went to best buy and there is a super sweet laptop there for only 899 so if anyone wants to give me a present....wink wink... i bought a game for 10 dollars...some navy seal thing... i am not sure how great it is but hey its only 10 dollars

so i copied all my entrys to microsoft word all the way back to thursday september 12th 2002... it is 113 pages long its pretty fun to rad through and be like..." i remember that that was fun"

if anyone wants to do anything this weekend i have no plans that i know of... gimme a jingle

trivia: who was the author of the book BOURNE IDENTITY
answer to last trivia: ruby and sambo were right i was holding up no fingers...think about it guys (and girls) i was typing why would i be holding up fingers while typing?...but i did say the first person so only ruby wins not sambo...

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

hey well i wanted to update but i gotta do it quick so here goes...

wednesday: school, church... it was great fun... mamma jean and papa d were there... great to see them again

thursday: knowledge bowl meet. moorhead smoked everyone... there was never a time in any round that any school besides moorhead had 1st 2nd or 3rd...we ended with 1st 2nd 3rd and 5th.

friday: found out today that if moorhead wins the kvly highschool challenge thing then all who participated in it (thats me) get scolarship money...rock... we tape tomorrow...if we win our first game then we are in the championships (also taped tomorrow) so yeah i hope that goes well

i am going sking this weekend it is gonna be great... afton alps...somewhere near the cities...king suites...whirl pools ... oh yeah and that whole sking thing

don't you hate it when you are writing a letter and trying to say something important and you know you can't do it in writing you always either don't get the point across or it comes out too much and is not the way you mean it... so of you know specifically what i am talking about... i hate that when it happens to me (what i was describing, not when people know what i am talking about)

well thats all i have for now...noone has gotten how many fingers i was holding up yet so that will comtinue to be the trivia for now...

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well i could write all about fire and ice but it would be to wonderful and you would all be jealous so... (ask me about the dog)

Canadians: please divert your course fifteen degrees to the south to avoid a collision

Americans: Recommend you divert your course fifteen degrees to the north to avoid a collision

Canadians: Negative you will have to divert your fifteen degrees to the south to avoid a collision

Americans: This is the captain of the US navy ship, I say again divert your course

Canadians: No, I say you must divert your course

Americans: This is the aircraft carrier SS Lincoln, the second largest ship in the Atlantic fleet we are accompany by three destroyers three cruisers, numerous support vessels. Demand you change your course fifteen degrees north I say again that’s fifteen degrees north or counter measures will be undertaken to ensure the safety of this ship.

Canadians: We are a lighthouse. Your call.

thats all for now... trivia question

how many fingers and i holding up (as i write this) first to guess correctly gets a prize

In God's Hands,

thomas kvamme

well here i am going to try remember all that happened this week

Monday: school. tony was reading a book and he was like this book is really good....so i stole it from him....mr kinsella has me teaching other kids in the class now. nothing i can remember after that

Tuesday: school. was gonna bring tony his book back but i forgot it at home...stink...knowledge bowl practice after school it was pretty good... i gave jaime a ride home i think she is getting really annoyed with the buzzer in my car...(i'll explain later) she said "shut up" and hit her side of the dash board... (the buzzer comes from my side) when i pointed that out to her she said "well its all the same car" and so i told her next time i get gas i was going to just put it in that backseat cause taht would hold more and its all the same car... then she told me to shut up

Wednesday: got into the school parking lot at 8:29...class at 8:30 so yeah i was a little late... oh well. took a physics test/quiz thing after school. tollefson was like you can get started i'll be back in a little bit. so i was working on the test and cassie palmer came in and was like do you know where he is..and i said i think he is next door but he said he'll be back in a little bit... so she is gonna take the test too... i keep working... she studies... tollefson doesn't show up.... we waited untill 4:25ish and he still wasn't there so we just wrote him a note on the chalk board and left. then churhc that night... it was good... we listen to a sermon of the guy from the broklyn tabernacle church... he wa pretty good... and he had great stories of the power of prayer... i met mike c.'s girl friend nikki... she was nice... her jacket reminds me of tooth paste...

Thursday: school . took a math test from like 3 weeks ago... i forgot a big chunk of it... argh... oh well.... knowledge bowl practice... took jaime home agian... she is now even more annoyed with my buzzer. oh well

well about this buzzzer in my car... my car is 20 years old its good but when it is cold it hinks it has too low oil so the oil light goes off... and the oil light has a buzzer.... so this buzzer and light go off but it means nothing so ite pretty funny the first time someone heres it cause they are all worried and stuff... and i am just like "meh what ever"

so this weekend is "fire and ice" the sr high retreat at cooperstown bible camp its gonna be great... i am giving sambo a ride up. its gonna be a good time
