well yesterday was good, sent to church early for worship team, ran slides first service. went to sunday school second. came home for a while. back for worship team practice. home for a while, at kents for bible study, home. that was my dayt yesterday

today was alright. school and stuff so far. i woke up at 7:30 (on my own no alarm or nothing) and thought i was late. then i realized it was 7:30 and went to bed.

i am getting sick... thats not good cause i never get just a cold its always somthing reallyy horrible so. stink.

i came super close to and acctually sort of did run out of gas today. i was low and was gonna get some this morning but i didn't so iwas driving to m&h from school and my car started going mrrrr.. so i decided to go to gas stop which was just a block away while m&h was still 4or5. so i got in the turn lane and my car died. i started it again and got across to gas stop and filled up. i put in16.3 gallons.... its a 16 gallon tank...yeah

aparently some of you have no clue what knowledge bowl is and just pretend to know so here is a breif dscription

A knowledge bowl team can have up to 5 members. All members can compete in the written round but only for per oral round.

 

A tournament begins with a Written Round of multiple choice questions that the team completes on paper.  Following the Written Round are four or five Oral Rounds, as described below.  The winner is determined by total points scored throughout the tournament, not by the winner of the individual rounds.

 

In Knowledge Bowl, three teams compete in a room at a time.  The reader, the moderator of the match, asks a question as the teams listen.  At any time any player from any team may "buzz in" by pressing lightly on a pressure-sensitive plastic strip which lays on the team's table.  The strip is connected to a computer which beeps to signal the reader to pause.  After buzzing in, the team has 15 seconds to discuss before the captain gives an answer for the team.  If the answer is correct, the team gets a point and the reader moves on to the next question.  If wrong, any other teams that have buzzed in get a chance to answer or have the question reread if they have not yet buzzed in.  All questions are worth one point and there is no penalty for wrong answers.

so i just got home from kb. here is the story that was my weekend

we left school noonish on friday and drove to the cities. our first stop (other than a rest stop) was the mall of america. checked out lego land, discovery (nerd) store and some other place. found a "dollar" store... really everything was 79 cents. i got some poker chips to play texas with later and some frosted glass spray paint stuff to try out. then we went to famous daves to eat. it was really good. bob bakken eric stevie and i split the big platter thing that you get on a garbage can lid. it was really good. i am wondering if i would be able to eat one of those all by myself. i am not sure, maybe. wandered around the mall for a little while more. left the mall about 7 and started the 45 minute drive to chaska/our hotel. oh by the way. our bus driver was not the best person at stick. he ground it more times than i can remember. anyways. we got to the pool and first was just chillin and then we started playing keep away with bob's sock cause none of us has a ball besides a bouncy ball but those don't work very well in a pool. so we were playing keep away then the drunk guys (2) from the hot tub wanted to play. probably cause they were drunk and a teenage girl was playing... yeah so we tired to mainly keep them away from jessie. it was fun to throw the sock at them because they it would hit them and then they would be like "ahhhh...where did that come from and where did it go...." funny after the pool was over we watched tv for a while then went to bed.

woke up today at 6:45 showered and updated you briefly. went to eat at the resturant connected to the hotel that you get brekfast coupons for... worst service ever. i won't even go into how bad it was cause it would take to long.  but after eating we went to chaska school to start the knowledge bowling. we did pretty good. the comptition was good. the school that have won state the last 13 years were there. we ended up with 2nd, 7th, 16th, 27, and 39th out of like 43 our lower teams could have ended up better but i am pretty proud of second. we maybe could have gotten first but it would have taken some smarts. drive home was good. stopped at rogers or something like that and there was a sale on pint and a half ice creams so i got one of those and a pop. the ice cream was 1080 calories... i am proud. played som poker on the was back. i won that. then i think i napped the rest of the way. got home came on here to update you.

today started with me going in early to take a spainish test... i don't think that went to well. history was alright i hadn;t read the chapter for today cause i never do but i still knew more about it than everyone else because it was about the scientific revoloution and all those people i have learned about in geometry calc trig physics or some other class.

came home after knowledge bowl practice and i took a nap it was nice

tomorrow we leave school at noon for the cities. friday evening we are going to the megamall and stuff and then saturday in KB tournament in chaska. it will be nice to face some quality opponents. most people we will face in state will be there. hopefully we will still smite them.

yeah i might be able to update from the hotel. if we are at the same on as last year it has a "buisness center" with a comp and things. we'll see.

i think i should find someone to pay me for my random ideas cause i have alot of them. that is the perfect example too.

jill i would love to keep the book but if you think it would be better for them to have it then that is fine with me. it is a wonderful book and i like it alot but i bet it can do more good for them so if you want pass it on

SMALL ADDITION: so i want to go work at camp next weekend cuase i haven't been there in a real long time. its mother daugher weekend. someone else should work to so its not jsut me and mothers/daughters... just a thought

hey.

today was just school so far. i was thinking about frashing the math league pizza bash but i thought no that would make me a big nerd. then i tought wait... i already am...then i remembered i need to go to best buy before church so no time.

i need something from best buy, don't know where it is in the store but i know they have it, but they don't know what it is cause the sales people aren't super bright. so this time i am bringing a picture with me for them

EDIT/UPDATE: went to best buy with my picture and they still didn't know what i was talking about. they are sort not bright. oh well its fine with me if i spend my money elsewhere.

had a wierd dream last night that i sort of remember i will tell about it later not much time now.

EDIT/UPDATE: so here is the dream. so i was sitting on the floor waiting to get into a class (like we normally do before math class) but we were sitting by tollefsons room. and then a girl who just got there but was somehow already sitting down. looked at me and said something like "you pick great movies" (apparently i lent her some movies) then she gave me a hug. it was one of those really good hugs. some more stuff happened after that but i don't remember what it was. stinking not being able to remember dreams

no question today. if there is a huge outcry i will bring them back but they have been lacking lately. all the good ones are used up.

i was also going to buy this book saturday but alas i could not

sam was right i got my watch from room two underneath the mirror, it was a dresser not a table but he gets credit cause he is on drugs. so anyway here is the story

my watch broke this summer the week of nationals. while i was talking with sam in his jon and z-moneys room (jon and zmoney were at nationals) i saw a watch on the dresser and was like "is this yours" and he told me no. i started using it that week and was like "i'll find out if it was jons or zmoneys when they come back and tell them i have been using it" so they come back and i see zexy first and say "hey is this your watch" he told me no. when i see jon i say "hey i have your watch" he says "what watch" "the one you left on the dresser" "i didn't leave a watch on the dresser" i say "this isn't your watch" and i show him the watch. he confirms it is not his. since then it has been my watch. God provided a watch for me in my time of need i guess

today was boring, school, all that jazz

kb after that. we have the chaska meet this weekend, fianlly we will be playing some good teams. then next wednesday is the meet we host at concordia. come and watch if you want. chaska is coming to that too. should be fun.

i am not acctually reading the book below i tried to buy it on monday but they wouldn't let me. those losers at b. dalton. the book is written by the pilot captured in black hawk down.

today i did hardly anything. i woke up at 11ish. went to savers and got a suit, it was sort of expensive $12.50

teen vision practice tonight. went normal i had to teach taylor the part of God for a homan video, that went ok cause i play God (no pun intended) but i also had to teach justin to play satan, went ok considering i don't play satan, i also had to act as Jesus to interact with satan, i basically know all the parts so it wasn't that bad

went to the mall and i talked to someone that i used to have the biggest crush in the world on, now i really don't know why i did. not that i think she is horrible now or anything i just think that if i met her now i wouldn't have a crush on her. oh well.

good day.

woke up at 6:30. student leadership meeting for church at 7:30 and we had a test on verses so i studied in the shower. put the paper in a ziplock bag and get it a little wet and it sticks nicely to the wall.

i was early to slt for probably the first time this year. i am usually late or miss it all together. thats something i need to work on.

church was good. sunday school was good.

worship team practice. went well. katrina is learning sound for next year when i am gone. hopefully taht will work.

bible study was nice. just talked about stuff.

went to see flight of the pheonix with sam. movie was good. (review below) but someone a few rows behind us snuck a beer in and dropped it on the ground. so it reaked like beer, not good, and it got on my sandals so they are saoking in the tub with pinesol to get that off.

as we were driving home (seperately) i pulled up along side sam and got him to roll down his window. then i shot him with an airsoft gun. it was great fun. i think i might have even hit him. tough to do while driving.

what should i do tomorrow. i have the day off. i'll think of something. that might just mean being lazy.

FLIGHT OF THE PHEONIX
its a remake of an old jimmy stewart movie. i like the remake. its acctually a remake not just a movie by the same name with one thing in the plot similar. that makes me mad... oh well thats a different subject. good plot. some nice surprises. action/ suspense/ comedy. its got some of it all. good movie definately a must see being that it is at the dollar fifty. 3.5 out of 4

hey there you,

so today i wasn't looking forward to history being that there was a project due that i hadn't done and a test to make up that i probably wasn't ready for as much as i could have been, got to school and there was a sub, no turning in project, no taking test. yay for that

got my schedule for next quarter. all i will have is espanol block 2 and econ block 4. should be nice

today is one of those days when i just feel like doing nothing at all. but the i get bored. its tough to find that happy medium between laziness and ADD.

so apparently no one understood my last entry... oh well.

yesterday was good. first school. then went to church to finish up little details, it was nice to see everyones reaction to all the work that was put into it.

worship was good. i really liked it, there was one of those great times when the music just fades away but the praise coming from people continues. those are so nice.

we might get another tv for the youth room cause one section can't really see the tv (for words during singing/notes during talk) with the new setup. they can sorta see one but not that well. apparently george (head pastor) walked up and one of his first comments was "you guys need another tv" hopefully that will speed the process along. finances are never really the fastest at church.

today was knowledge bowl. we had to be to school at 7. we didn't leave till after 7:30. that mad me sorta perterbed. i could have slept more. i slept on the bus ride up there. moorhead did good. team one was in first place all day. moorhead ended with 1,2,4, and something else nice

came home, went to the courthouse to show them i had insurance cause mine slip was not a current one for my accident. got to go through the metal detector... did you know moist towelettes have metal in them?

then i came home and napped. now i am awake and doing this.

so here is a little background for the question for today. i used to take piano lessons. i still have 4 or so songs memorized. i can play them and they sound sorta decent so i decided to find a really cool sounding song that is really comlicated to learn on piano and to memorize.

exciting news. it has been 821 days since i joined xanga.... ok never mind that news is not exciting at all.

yesterday was boring. school/ teen vision pratice. not really boring for me but it would be boring to write about

today was a big nerd day for me. went and took the jets (junior enginering technological society or something like that) the went and wandered around target for and hour and a half with bob and bakken. then kb practice went to church after that and rearranged everything. i mean everything. including running lots of wires in the cieling. yeah... lots of wire. so come tomorrow and see what its like.

i am not sure if i want to write this next part on here or not so i am going to type it and if i still can't decided i will leave it up if not i will delete it.
so as some of you know i have been writing letters/emails to a girl for over a year now and i kinda sorta liked her so i thought "no day like valentines day" so i mailed her a box of chocolates and a card that said some stuff. knew i would get an email today that would either be really great or not that great. it was the not that great one but that is ok cause i guess that this juts isn't gods time for that. we is still friend and all that good stuff.

quick run down of the day cause i gotta go to bed cause i am tired as stink

church. saw joanna there but when i went over to say hi she was gone already, where did you go?

sunday school it was good. came home for a short time then went back to get ready for the adult vday dinner. set up changed into my suit and welcomed all the adults, then i was a server, then i ran computer for "gender feud" then cleared tables then washed dishes aqnd stuff. long day... it felt really late so i looked to seee what time it was it was 8:30....ahhh.... it was fun though. its nice having all the decorating up for more than one day, last year we decorated friday, had the dinner and took it down saturday. having my work used more feels nice.

oh so funny story, sort of.... so today in church i sat by ellie and her family cause my dad teaches sunday school and my mom lots of times goes to the later service and what not so i just find another family to it by, today it was ellie and her family, so during the adult vday dinner chuck mcwethy (he was my sunday school teacher in like 8th grade) was like "hey thomas" and motioned me over. i went over and he asked "are you and ellie going out" "umm...no" was my reply. "oh, so you just sat by her in chruch?" "yeah" i answered "...oh" i guess that is how rumors get started. maybe you had to be there

just got back from the v day dinner. it was great fun. tim and i rocked it up playing the newly friend game (take off of newly wed) 8 for 8. we win. the whole thing was fun hanging out after was fun too. hanging is fun lots of the time.

*ok so for this first part. it will probably sound mean and arrogant but it is not meant to. so don't take it that way, i can't think of the good way to say it* so, there are somethings that i am good at and know more about than others, it really bugs me when people who don't know about things try disagree with me and try to prove me wrong. i don't know what to do then. i don't want to be like "grr. your wrong!" but i don't want to just let them make a mistake. you know what i mean.... oh well, i just felt like i had to say that so i am good now. *also that was not about a specific incident, just a general thing, so don't think i am mad at you*

so today after school i was going to (and did go to) chruch to set up for the valentines dinner and so i put my cds (a 200 cd book, almost full) in my car so i would have them after school.

so after school i go to church and i open the back of my car to get my cds and they are gone. yeah gone. at first i thought i must have just forgot them at home but it now appears that i didn't, consevative estimate over $2000 of cds, well it will be a good witness to whoever has them now being that they are all christian. maybe they will be mad they are all christian and bring them back tomorrow. just in case i am going to park in the same spot. yay....

yeah so pray i get my cds back or find them, or if not that whoever has them now learns about God through them and comes to know him personally casue that would be worth all my cds

yesterday was a knowledge bowl meet at pierz, mn (i don't know where it is either, its about 2 and a half hours away(i think)) so we met at the fryn pan this morning to leave at 6. so we got there at 5:30ish to eat. that would have been more fun if i had not gone to bed at 12:30 1 last night. slept most of the way there. we did alright. one of our players from team one was gone so that was part of it. we only got second. to bad.

today was student leadership team at church and i woke up this week for it and was going to be on time and then my car didn't start. so much for that. we have to get it looked at now. grr.

superbowl party was good. finally got the tv working around 4...almost had to listen on the radio. but i got to play on the roof so its all good. won many prizes. also good.

wow i am so hyper right now. kia and kayle know what i am talking about. here is a example of how hyper i am i am typing so fast that the computer can't keep up. its really crazy. so the teenv vision concert went good. afterwards we were gonna load up the bus (all the equipment goes on the teen vision bus it is big and red) so i was gonna do that and try set a record (the old record was set by me and kube it was 7:30) so we got all the stuff ready to go on the bus and leon (the bus driver) was going to bring the bus to by the door so we could load it and i was getting ym self hyped up to set a record time and leon came back and said ths buss wouldn't start so i started brining things (big heave boxes) to the bus while it was sitll sitting cross the street in a parking lot at the back of the parking lot. so i brought  a load out and then leon told me just to wait, i said "leon i have all this energy and i need to use it can't i just carry stuff over here" he said "well if you really wnat to use all your energy you can push the bus and i'll pop the cluch and we can get it started that way  i said ok, i was serious, turns out leon wasn't to bad. so iwent back inside and not wanting my hyperness to go away  i walked in lots of circles. i bet i got a few miles of circles walked. if was fun when you walk in a circle fast enough you can lean in and not fall over. that is how we apply physics to our everyday life. it is a good thing. yeah now kia's mom things i am crazy but then fianally the bus got started and we got to load it. set a record 4:30!!!! great work it is a nice record i am going to have to tell kube thaqt i smoked his last record. yeah so then i came home and i still have all this energy and i ahve to be up early cause knowledge bowl leaves from the fryn pan at 6 which means we are going there at 5 to eat....ahhhh alll this energy. this whole thig took me like 3 and a half minutes to write so much energy... as soon as i la on my bed (in a about a minute) i will crash and be dead. yeah

so. this morning after first block i was walking down the hall (the one by costellos room for those of you who know the layout of moorhead) i had gotten out of class a little early so in that hall it was just me (walking) two people standing by a locker about 1/4 down the hall and tow girls sitting on the ground 3/4 down the hall. as i was walking by the people standing cosme (one of the two standing) says "hey tomas" and i replied "hey cosme" (we were is spainish together, cosme is not his reall name but it is to me.) i continued to walk down the hall. when i got maybe 8 feet away from where the two girls were sitting on the floor. one of them says to me "hi" so i quickly in my head flip through me mental rolodex of faces to try match her face with a name or where i know her from or anything but i couldn't. so i just replied with "hi" assuming that i don't know her. then she says "how are you" i replied with "i'm good, how are you" her response was "i'm good too" "thats good" i answered back. now i was about 8 feet past her in the hall and i turned the corner and walked away. i have been trying to think if i know her somehow or if she knows me somehow all day and i can't think of anything.

in econ class the news came again and videotaped class for a while and then wanted to interview kids so johnson told them that i would do it.... ahhh...what do i know about social security.... well, not that much but i guess its enough to be on the news... channel 6 at 10 o'clock if you care at all

wow so this is not being a good week to be me. got in a car accident on the way to school today. the car in front of me had to slam on thier brakes and swerve a little to the left to keep form hitting the person in front of them, i slammed on my brakes and swerved to the right to try avoid them but i didn't quite make it. so yeah my left headlight hit her rear right fender. not to much damage on my car but more on hers. my headlight is gone. her fender is pretty much done.

school was alright. came late to world history because of the accident. i got there right after  a different girl who had also gotten in an accident. that a funny coincidence. rocked it up on a review game.

today i school i learned that it is a little awkward seeing someone in the hall that you ran into that morning.

kb practice after school we have a meet on saturday so that should be fun.

this weekend will be pretty busy but i don't think i will have any "marathon days" like last weekend. maybe sorta

friday i have school and then that night i have a knowledge bowl party that i can go to for a little bit but then i have to go give a concert at the funky monkey in fargo for teen vision. all you fargo moorhead people should come its at 8:30 and its 3 dollars. its 118 broadway in fargo. come if you want.

saturday kb meets at fryn pan at 6 so we are going early to eat. rock up the compitition then get home at about 6ish. i have something going on that night but i am not sure what right now.

sunday is church then i have to get the youth room ready for the supper bowl party that you should all come too. it'll be pretty sweet garunteed prizes.

does anyone else feel like an idiot. i sure do. i slammed my fingers in the front door of my house this morning on the way to school. my first thought was "i am an idiot" (then i remembered the last time i slammed a finger in a door and how it didn't hurt that bad but it was relly cut up and i needed stitches and the docter said that if it weren't for the door hiting my fingernail that it would have cut off that part of my finger.) so then i looked at my fingers to see how bad it was. it wasn't that bad. the door got my first three fingers and cut em up some but not to bad. they was bleeding some but hey. so i went to school.

i found out i got a 103 on the AMC yesterday. nice but i cold have done better, well at least i got to the next round. econ went well. i get what is going on. espanol is a litttle tougher.

lugg week this week. we made encouragemant packages and gave them to some people. we figured we should have at least one lugg week that wasn't video games and pizza. it wa still pretty funny though. you probably had to be there. sniff...sniff...sniff...sniff

hello again,

so not much happened today, school of course. knowledge bowl practice afterwars. i ran indivuals. that went well. after school i went out to discover that my dome light was on (i don't remember turning it on) but so my battery was dead. that was no fun. but anyway i called my mom and got a jump. my car was sort of surrounded by cars but there was a space sort of kiddie corner from my car. the jumper cables we definately stretched to their proverbial breaking point. it is fun to use proverbial in a sentence.
