tooot tooot whats that sound... sounds like the update train is coming

so today i headed out to school and first had to wait for a train. i walked into history a little late to find out that someone had stolen one of the chapter tests. since noone would fess up or narc instead of watching a movie for the last two days of class (today and tomorrow) we all had to take a final. todays section was 30 essays questions... that was fun...i mean no.

UPDATE: that test i took yesterday in 13 minutes i got a 93. highest in the class, in case you were wondering

math was fun today, mainly cause we did no math we just told eidsness how we liked the year and what we thought she should do differently or the same for next year. circles are fun.

knowledge bowl practice. state is april 19-20 and there are 4 practices left untill then i will be here for one of them. yeah. hopefully they will go well. i sill be looking at some stuff while on my trip. i was looking at some info about teams that made it to state this year. at all the regions only one team got got more points than moorhead. st thomas acadamy. they got 148.5 well we shall see how this all turns out in two weeks

i am excited for next week. thursday we (my mom and dad and i) are leaving for nashville and gospel music association week. its great fun. its really funny the minds of TN people. last year one day at lunch it was like 40 and raining i was going to go across the street to a subway, i was wearing shorts, a tee shirt, and flip flops. while riding down in the elevator some guy was like "are you really going outside like that? its supposed to be in the 50's" and i said "well acctually i saw a bank sign from my window and its 42" he gave me this odd look so i explained to him "i am from minnesota" then it all clicked in his mind. "oh, i'm from australia" he said "sometimes our really bad winters get down to 80." that man is my hero... no he's not really my hero i just wouldn't mind living where he does.

districts is tomorrow through sunday. should be great. so for that reason there might not be any updates untill sunday but i might sneak one in tomorrow.

QUESTION:
If my name were not thomas what would it be?

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

hey. so not much comments for the last post but thats my fault it wasn't really that good, and for that i apologize. hopefully today's will be better

school started my day today. took a test in world history. it was 100 questions it took my 13 minutes. i was the first one done. second kid took 15 minutes then everyone else took another 15ish minutes before the 3rd person was done.

started a project in espanol. i am not sure if it is due tomorrow, i hope not if it is i will do it in history cause we are just watching a movie.

church tonight went good. another channel on the sound board broke. hopefully that will help the administration see that we need new equipment in the youth room. we are down to 10 channels which is the least we can have with out making our band smaller. so yeah. i hope no more break before we get new stuff.

tonight i decided i was going to drink pop less. not for anything having to do with health or anything. cause it cost so much... i was going to say i am not going to drink pop anymore, then i thought well what if its free. so then i said i will not pay for pop anymore. but then i thought what about when i am at a meal place and everything drinkwise costs the same. so i ended at this. i am not going to buy pop unless it is at a resturant where i am having a meal.sound good. yeah.

so if you guys want to give me pop that would be nice of you. i like dr pepper. but i am not picky.

for all of you who accuse me of cheating on levi's site: i don't cheat. levi doesn't tell me answers i don't look them up or anything like that. i just know stuff.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

its just an average day. not to much special went on today. started with school there were lip synchs today and the first set was not that good at all. but the second was. we told johnson that they were at 2:25 cause we thought they were so he let us out 2:20... whoops they were at 2:45. we just hung out in the auditorium for a while.

knowledge bowl practice after school.

came home and worked on a stencil for a while. then my father and i went to best buy. i would like that store more if i had money. anyways. father got some tax software and a new dvd player cause our old one like to stop randomly and skip and it just got to annoying so bye bye to that one. came home and i had to reprogram a bunch of stuff on our multi thingy remote for the new dvd.

worked on the stencil more. finished it. its pretty sweet. its a swat guy. 4 layers. none of you really care but hey. i used my new acetate for it so its nice and big 19" x 24" i need to find something good to paint it on cause the paper i was using ends up ripping after 4 layers cause i use a temp spray adhesive and little bits stay on the paper so for the last layer its really sticky and thus rips. i'll have to check out kieffers.

thats about all i have got for now. i think

QUESTION:
what would make a cool stencil?

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

so yesterday i got up at 5:30 and got to church at 6:30. sunrise service started at 7:30 that was good. overflowed the youth room. thats always fun.

8 was food stuff, egg bake and cinnimon rolls and such. church at 9. then there would normally be sunday school but there wasn't so i went home at 10:30 it was wierd being home on sunda at 10:30.

ate dinner at 2ish. had dessert... then we invited the hoibergs over for desserts at 7ish. i think i had a whole pumpkin pie, and some cheesecake.

good times

today was school for me... not to shabby. well for school at least.

so our school has no more break at all for 9 weeks... that would stink except that i am going to be gone next thursday and friday and then the whole next week. then i will be there for monday and gone tuesday and wednesday. two weeks off for me.... yay.

GMA (gospel music association) week is so great. that is when i go to nashville every year. i am looking forward to replenishing my cd collection. i have like 12 now.

thats all i got for today i think.

QUESTION:
If i were to name my car (i haven't cause THE QUANTUM is a good enough name) what would you suggest i name it, and why?

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

so today i went to the 99 cent enter. i found some cool stuff. i got some nice paper that i cut up to a smaller size and i put a bunch in my checkbook so now i will have paper with me. and the find of the day was this 19"x24" acetate (clear plasticy stuff) pad with 12 sheets or something like that, so it was 99 cents caues its the 99 cent store, the old price tag on it was $68.54 good deal i'd say.

that is about all i did today that is worth noting. my brothers are home. so i have done some stuff with them nothing exciting.

tomorrow is easter as most of you know. so first there is a sunrise service that the youth worship team is leading. then there is breakfast thing that we are doing. then church then there is no official sunday school but we will probably do something anyway. then its home for food and pie and stuff. yummy.

not excited for going back to school on monday but hey. only one more week of a full day then last quarter starts and my day is nice and short. don't have to be to school untill 10:05, i will have luncj from 11:35 untill 1:55 (that two hours and 20 minutes) then school will be over at 3:25. yeah... that won't be too bad.

so the other day i was debating with someone if a lightsaber could cut through adamantium or not. (i was saying it couldn't) and then yesterday i found this online debate with pretty much everyone agreeing with me. it is really nerdy but i like it i have not read the whole thing because it is 184 pages... wow... nerds

QUESTION:
what should i do for 2h 20m over my long lunch breaks coming up?

Happy Easter tomorrow

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well today was pretty sweet. it was dress up likesomeone from world history to earn extra credit for history class day. i went as FDR. so i wore a suit and had a wheel chair. i was in the wheel chair all day at school. it was pretty funny. some people were really confused. wheelchairs are sweet. if i could use one more often i would. anyway so back to me being FDR. so i wore my suit, my red tie, red pocket square, and my glasses. apparently i look like FDR. thats what someone said anyway. i don't really see it.

today during econ the principal came in and started of by saying that the reason he didn't make any sort of announcement about the school chootings before now is that it is reccomended taht the first 48 hours students still have a routine. and that an announcement would shatter our routine. yes.. my entire day would be ruined if there was an announcement about anything... next he reassured us that our staff was just rebreifed on our lockdown procedured, as if becasue there was one shooting this week that means we are more likely to have one at our school or something. then he went on to say that we need to be compassionate to native americans at our school inlight of the shooting. right after that he told us not to judge people by, or group them together because of their race, beleifs. good job on not doing that yourself... then we had a moment (30 seconds to be precise) of silence. it went better than the last one we had for what ever reason because the last one was infact only 21 seconds and you could hear people talking in the background of the intercom. yeah... i really wonder why he talks on the intercom...ever.

today i also found out that the deadline to register to take ap tests is today so i had to sign up for all those and pay for them. yeah that was cool. it would be nice for school to tell us things before the last minute.

saw the office on nbc just now. funny show. jello.... hehehe. if you saw it you get it. its funny. originally from the bbc. good stuff that bbc

QUESTION:
what is the most random thing i have ever said to you?

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

hey there.

so first off. someone sent me an email through xanga yesterday but didn't say who they are... so it would be cool if you told me who you were. thanks

so today school was alright. it was school

afterschool i came home ate and such and was ready to go to church at 5 like i normally do and set up for worship team practice at 5:30 then i thought wait tonight is mystery night i don't have to... but i had nothing to do so i went anyway. so i was at church at 5:10 ish and then sat for a while. then kent took bekah gooby and me to the secret place (cause it was mystery night so no ne knew what was gonna happen, well kent did... and God did) but so we went to set stuff up. we got to know cause we are special. but anyway we ended up going to the old gym at oak grove and there were 10 stations where teams would do different things and we would switch every 6 minutes at the end each team took its turn being in the middle of everyone and seeing how long it took before they had all been eliminated dodge ball style. (more about that later) and then they tallied the points and saw who won. it was my team way to go team 10... we made a cheer... T  E  A  M   T  E  N  thats the way you spell team 10!

then it was back to church for hangout time. so tomorrow is dress up like a famous person from history day for history class. i am going as FDR and borrowed clayton's wheelchair (he owns it he doesn't use it) so i am going to use a wheel chair all day. it will be pretty sweet.

ok so when my team (each team was 8 people) was going into the middle for the see how long you last game everyone sorta moved so i was in the front and i was like "ahhh" cause i couldn't see who had the balls so i could really watch for all of them. it was not cool. i lasted a little bit but not to long. oh well. we still one. T  E  A  M   T  E  N  thats the way you spell team 10!

QUESTION:
what do you think i am most skilled at?

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well today was knowledge bowl. we were supposed to be there at 10 to 7 this morning. i woke up at 7:02. that is the quickest i have ever gotten to school. good thing i have mad driving skills. i was a little worried when i got there (7:05) and there was no bus... but it turned out that tollefson was late too and so they told the bus driver (luther) he could go get coffee. yeah so it was all good. the meet went well. moorhead got first in the written round and stayed there all day. i think it is safe to say we smoked the competition. we had 133 and the next closest was moorhead 2 with 104 then fergus with 99 or something. morris really should have gotten 3rd cause they were in 3rd or second all day but fergus just barely beat them in the last round. oh well. it wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact that the top three teams go to state.

moorhead didn't get three teams but we got 2 so thats good. park was in small school division. that was a shame i wanted to face them. they got third in small school and will be going to state aswell. (for all you park people out there)

after knowledge bowl we went to a chinese buffet. it's really funny cause all the waiters and things are chinese (well asain at least) but at least 2 of the cooks are white. anyways its one of those chinese places where the real chinese (stuff you would find in china) is not that great but the fake chinese (stuff we call chinese but you couldn't order at a resturant in china) is pretty good. i have been dubbed a puffaholic. cause i ate a bunch of those sugar bun thingies (sam calls them puffs)

so yeah that was about my day. after that i cam home and did stuff.

QUESTION:
what is something that could be considered my catch phrase?
(not a catch phrase taht would work for me, but something i already say)

BE MY FRIEND

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

p.s. levi please put up a riddle

so nothing much happened again the last few days.

sunday started with student leadership team. i was on time *good for me* and then was sunday school where i shared. i was supposed to share a month ago but first kent forgot then i was sick then i was gone so i finally shared yesterday. then there was no worship team practice so i went home and had nothing to do. that was wierd. went to bible study at six. that was good. kent rearranged his basement agian.

oh so i remembered something that happened on sunday. ok before sunday school someones mom always brings a snack, well yesterday they brought bagels, cream cheese, peanut butter, and toseters and such. so i toaster my bagel (2 halves) and was peanut buttering one and hertley comes and tales my other and eats it... i noticed to late. grr. i don't think he realized he was taking mine i think he jsut thought they weere in the toasters and peoplewere to take them. if he did know then that was really mean

anyway i have to go to teen vision practice now so bye bye.

QUESTION: what is your favorite bagel topping?

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

hello beautiful

so nothing much has been happening the last few days, but i will give you a brief overview anyway. thursday: school and knowledge bowl practice. friday: school today: no school nothing much else either

but anyway recently i have been reminded of one of the wacky things i hvae done and its a pretty good story that i sorta shared with three people today so i though since nothing else was going on in my life i would share it with the rest of you.

it was easter break multiple years ago, i am not sure what year it was. i think it was 7th grade. i know it was before ninth grade.

background info: back at that time i was drastically addicted to caffine in the form of Mt. Dew. the summer before my 8th grade year i drank 8 44oz. of mt dew a day and slept about 2 hours every two days.

anyway, easter break i had nothing to do and decided in the great wisdom of my 7th grade mind that it would be cool to see how long i could stay up. it was not that hard to stay up with the help of my good friend brian who was the assistant manager of M&H, he gave me free pop. so i woke up wednesday morning at the usual time and went to school that was our last day of the week. that would be the last of my sleep for a very long time. i would spend the days in the normal manner, doing normal 7th grade boy things, like playing with friends and what not. during the night i would watch tv. not to much was on because i didn't (and still don't) have cable. so only pbs and nbc went all night long. i aslo played video games. i managed to stay awake all easter break. i finally went to bed on sunday night knowing that i would have to go to school the next day. the last time i looked at the clock before i went to sleep was 11:26. i had been awake for 135 hours and 56 minutes. that is my personal record.

when i was at school on monday and told some people about my easter adventures i learned that once you have been with out sleep for 3 days you are legally insane and can halucinate. that made some things make more sense. you see one night while i was playing mortal combat on the good old sega genesis the normal characters moved off to the side and big bird and ernie took their spots. it was really odd but i thought i had just unlocked some secret in the game. also on pbs late at night they had a version of jesus christ superstar on and i thought i was really cool. i have never been able to find the version that i saw that night.

those are the only two halucinations i know about but that is the point of halucinations. you don't know they aren't real. who knows what else i saw that wasn't there.

yeah that was my craziest easter break ever.

follow up: later that year i found out the dangers of caffine poisoning (litteraly throwing up your innerds) and gradually worked myself of of mt. dew. you can't wuit cold turkey because you get severe headaches for three days. the more addicted you are the more severe they are so therefore mine were really bad. i gradually got off of caffine and didn't drink it at all for a while. i drink caffinated pop agian but am no longer addicted and no longer drink that much.

thats all i have for today

QUESTION: what is the longest you have ever gone without sleep?

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

so today was sub regions for knowledge bowl they told us yesterday we had to leave by seven (am)... yeah like that happened it was atleast 715 before we got on the bus. oh well. good day for knowledge bowling. we were the top team the whole time. we finished with 125 points the 2nd place was 97. moorhead ended up with 1st 2nd 6th and 9th places. the top 6 advance to regions. three of those are us. then from regions 3 advance to state. hopefully that will be three of us too. it has hapened before. that is why every one in our region hates us. oh well...to bad for them

came home took an econ test.

youth group... computer was being really stupid. pops for no reason cause i wasn't looking at the internet. so i just disconnected it from the network and they still popped up they were just white and then said "you are currently disconnected fromt eh internet. *retry* *cancel* and no matter how many times i hit cancel they were still... ahhh... stupid. well we should have our G5 installed by sunday so hopefully i never have to deal with that comp again.. it was being stupid during worship too so the slides looked crappy and came up late and ahhh.... i think i might have been the only on to notice it but in my mind everybody thinks it was horrible. they sound was wierd to. first a bunch of stuff went wrong and then it just sounded odd. not sure what it was.

then i realized (later... much after worship) that its not about how smooth the transitions are, how neat the slides look, how good the mix is. its about worsihping God with all our heart and soul. giving things up to him. more than i can put into words here i just got hit with that reminder. God is good.

this is a really bad transition but hey...

finished my book today. its really good. *THIS NEXT PART IS FOR SAM* sam you can borrow it now. what say you and me go to incridible or nat. treasure or something at the buck fity on either 9:30ish friday or whenever saturday and i give it to ya then. what say you sam.*NOW BACK TO FOR EVERYONE* really good book. if anyone has black hawk down in suggest a temporary swap some time.

i really feel i like have something more to say that i really wanted to write but i can't member so it must not be too important.

code hint. the first leter is C

QUESTION:
should i donate (sell really i guess) plasm?

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

so today was the tri college math test. the individual test was 35 questions (not counting the tie breakers) (no calculators) and most everyone doesn't finish so you guess on lots. anyways the guy gave the five minute warning and i thought that last year there was a 30 sec warning too so i kept working on a problem then he called time and made us put our pencils down. crap... no guessing for me. i still did ok. better than lots of people. then was the team test. 10 questions 20 minutes. that was ok.

afterwards a bunch of us went to bennigans. bennigans has a"big irish" which is a burger with 2 8 oz. patties and an extra bun. comes with fries. they also have this challenge where if you eat the whole thing and all the fries, you get a free dessert. long story short. i got a free dessert. i finished my burger before another guy who got a normal sized burger was half done with his. i really didn't see what was so impressive about this burger. it was good and all but not challenge worthy. jaime says "it was huge" but i guess thats relative. so for 11 dollars i got my pop burger fries and a bug dessert thing (big brownie, ice cream, whipped cream, cherry (i gave jessie the cherry)) *parentheses inside of another parentheses, i can do that cause i treat english like math.* then a bunch of people who got monte carlos, or monte cristos something like that got togo boxes but 3 out f the four people who got them forgot them. so i combined those and got those too. yay. its the closest i have been to full in a long time. oh and i won a free irish haystack in a game thingy.

good lunch

took a nap today that was really fun. it was one of those really nice ones. i was reading on the couch and had just enough energy to place my bookmark (one of those subscription things from a magazine) in and put my book down before i went to sleep. nice timing, just finished the chapter

knowledge bowl tomorrow, should be fun. its the first regions or sections what ever is smaller. i have no idea. i just know we have this. then another one and then we are officially going to state. now it is unofficial that we are going

code hint:
the braclet related to the code is black, red and tan
all of you that have recently commented ( i am not garunteeing everyone reading cause who knows who all reads this ) know the answer to the code (meaning if you saw what the answer was you would know what it is talking about. it is not just random letters)

QUESTION TIME:
how many kids will i have?
back in 2001 AA said that i will have 12. good times.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

hey there partners.

so today i woke up at 8:15. school starts at 8:25. to get there on time i usually leave at 8:14. so i was hurried this morning. i would have been less hurried if i didn;t really have to pee. so i drove to school and parked in the first spot i saw and sorta ran into school and walked in the class room at 8:25. nice work me.

school was pretty boring today 50 percent of my teachers were subs today. tomorrow is tri college math contest. that should be fun... um yeah. i am a big nerd. tro college tomorrow. knowledge bowl wednesday. i get to mis lots of school this week. that should be good.

so we finally got our g5 at church for the youth room... who knows when it will get hooked up. they are really stupid about that and won't let me set it up. they might. i hope so cause kent got his new computer in january and it is still sitting in a box in his office. kent was gonna try hitting some people up for money for sound stuff this week. hope that goes well.

reading IN THE COMPANY OF HEROS and its really good. one part he is hurt and bloody and things and some somalis with bad english are trying to interrogate him and so he confuses them with big words.
“I apologize, gentlemen, but the disposition of our personnel and
the particular nomenclature associated with our tasks is of such a sen-
sitive nature that my duties as an army officer preclude me from de-
         lineating such details.”
its really funny.

good read. you should check it out it.

here is a hint about the code. it is three letters.

return of questions... at least one today

QUESTION:
what do you see me doing as a profession when i am older?

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

so this morning i had to wake up at 6 ahhh... set my alarms for 5:46 and 5:58 and some how i turned them both off and woke up at 6:04. odd. but hey, it works

i know what you are thining, why did i have to wake up so early on this the day of rest. well teen vision was giving a concert in wheaton. first we drove to fergus and got on the us. (the bus lives in fergus) and i "got" to drive to fergus so i had to stay awake and stare into the amazingly bright just risen sun.

this whole waking up early thing was not helped by the fact that i didn't get to sleep untill after 3:30.

i was going to go to bed at 11 but then i had to do laundry. then at 12 i tried to go to bed but i wasn't tired. read some book. played some FSW. watched chicken run. then finally laid there with my eyes closed for a while hoping to fall asleep quickly

but i did have this dream about a girl i had a crush on for about a week a few years ago. i couldn't figure out why at first but it connected later so i will tell you later. anyway her name was natalie oman and she was from wisconson. i met her at the new years retreat of 01. she was from wisconson. she came to camp cause she was koleena's cousin. we were bestest friends for that weekend. we ate together and colored in coloring books together. yeah. coloring books. then she went home and i went home. to bad i wasn't into this whole msn thing back then. (i had just started using it that fall) who knows what would have happened if we had exchanged emails. back then. maybe she will read this now and we will be reunited. probably not.

so have you guessed why i remembered her yet. keep thinking

the code from last time has not been sloved yet. so here is another chance for you to figure out
|    | |  |

major bonus points for whoever gets it.

keep thinking about why i had that dream

tonight was bible study and we played bible challenge here is the score break down:

sarah 26
bekah 5
thomas 27
becky 13
kayla 15
katrina 16 (but she got the final one worth 45 so she ended up with 60 points)

so now that the suspense has been built up here is why i remembered her. the coloring book we colored in was a chicken run coloring book.

i bet none of you suspected that was it.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well yesterday i babysat so i woke up before two. to bad none of you caught on to that. the closest was andy at 2 so she gets 50 bonus points. next time maybe you all should pay some more attention.

well yesterday i watched luke from 11 to 2 we watched clifford. played with trains, duplos and played fetch with dog. here is how his prayer for lunch went "dear God, thank you for being nice. amen." pretty cool

went to barnes and noble and got IN THE COMPANY OF HEROS its a good book. i suggest it. not to all of you. most of you girls would not like it. sam you would definately like it.

not to much else happened. i am bored. good thing i have that new book.

tomorrow is a teen vision concert at wheaton. have to meet at BK at like 6:45 or something insanely early like that. ok... its not really insanely early but i have been not waking up that early for a while so.

i really have nothing else to say but i feel like there should be more to this so...umm... lemme think....

ok here is a code for you to figure out
|    | |  |

if you know what bracelets i am wearing currently that might help. or it might be a red herring.

good luck

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

woke up at two again today. that sure is nice.

bummed around. played some FSW. oracticed my marksmanship with the M-16. watched a little tele. was bored some

went to the park game at concordia today. it was a good game but one of the refs was not that cool. i will leave it at that. we won still. nice work to the park guys.

afterwards i was talking with some people and carly introduces me to a guy... well she says "do you two know each other" and so he sicks out his and and says "luke" and is stick out my hand and say "thomas" and we shake hands like any normals guys would do. apparently that is wierd to girls. what else are we supposed to do when we meet new people? i have no idea what was wrong witht he name exchange and handshake. oh well.

anyway. i am babysitting luke tomorrow afternoon. it should be pretty sweet.

whoever guesses the closest time to when i wake up tomorrow wins points.

so i am reading a case for faith and it is way better than the student version. i am glad it is better because the student version is not really that good. so. keep that in mind when you are at the book store.

so i was looking at the mediashout site seeing when the update is coming out and they don't know for sure yet when it is coming out but i looked at some of the features that it will have extra and it is gonna be really sweet. an example of its sweetness: it will have over 50 versions of the bible

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

so i m trying to update my xanga while still reading other peoples and it is not working so i am going to be right back and write the rest of this

ok finished with everyone elses now on to mine

first off 500 bonus points to ryan for lending me a case for faith. i almost left it at church cause heather brought it to me there and tonight as i was walking out i thought to myself (like i do every wednesday and sunday) "do i have everything that i brought when i came today" and i did but i didn't have the book.so i was almost to the outside door of church and remembered the book. it was a close call.

anyway. so i had no school again today. woke up at two. thats 3 out of the last 4 days. i get sorta bored so i might come visit some one sometime tomorrow. who knows.

today i bummed around for a while and then went to church. the 8th graders lead worship tonight.... um yeah...yeah...

i think i am going to give the best suggestion to... ummm...sam. his is the only one i could really do. the other ones were good but not so do-able so nice work sam 75 bonus points for you.

i like levis the best out of the non-do-able ones so he gets 15 bonus points.

depending on when i wake up tomorrow i might go on a walk and take sweet pictures of moorhead. i went out for a little last night but it was darkand the cam i had didn't work well in the dark so day time is the way to go.

park basketball game tomorrow too.

i think that is all i have for now. if not well to bad for you then.

mucho bonus points for the first person to get me some of emily's home made oreo cookies.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

so the reason they are bonus points is becasue they are extra. (not a everyday thing)

minus 10 points from emily brady and andy for complaining... sorry.

woke up early today... by that i mean noon. not having school is fun.

open landing at the youth room. we went to old chicago since kent and i hadn't eaten and annalisa and kayla wanted dessert. the buffet was really good. so was the chili. and the moz sticks. went back to the youth room and played some carpetball and fooseball.

after open landing i came home and just bummed for the rest of the day.

what should i do tomorrow. i am open to suggestions cause i got nothing.

best suggestion gets points.

starburst get not as good after two packs. just in case you were wondering.

i wish i could focus on one thing for longer

the nes computer should come for youth group this week sometime. hopefully. grr.

i really have no idea what i am going to do when i grow up but i am totally fine with that.

sometimes i wonder how things work. then i take them apart, then i either know how they work or wonder why they don't work anymore.

sorry today was sorta random but thats just the way i am

EDIT: i saw this on msn it is to let our parents "know what your kids are saying" a parent's guide to computer slang and this aswell acronyms and shorthand its pretty funny all the thigs we apparently use all the time

so i am writing another xanga for today, i don't know why but it makes me feel like a loser.

25 bonus points go to brady, andy, annalisa, courtney, emily, and benjamin.

50 extra bonus points go to emily, benjamin and andy

so i went to teen vision practice today and i was playing with one of the mic stands where all you have to do to adjust the height is press this button. it was tall and i wanted to make it short so i pressed the button and it slid down really fast and pinched the skin between my thumb and my pointer finger. wel it cut me pretty good too, twice. so i went and bandaged that up. the bandage makes it so i can't make a fist. so if you want to pick a fight with me now would be the time.

so i decided that being independantly wealthy would be pretty cool.

there is lots of stuff that church and things either doesn't have the money for or the budget just takes so stinking long to get approved that it would be wicked sweet if i could just buy things that are needed. oh well. i am fine with not being super rich but if any of you and super rich and feel like sharing i am the guy for you.

p.s. i have no school for the rest of the week.
hehehe

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

50 bonus points for nathan kia courtney w. and sam

good work.

so yesterday i was sick and today i was sick and tonight i was mostly better so i am going to go to teen vision practice and my parents find this really suspicious because today was our only day of school this week. i guess they think i must have been faking it. apparently they have never heard the "don't fake on friday" rule. basically you don't fake sick on fridays or "fridays" (the last day of the week whatever it may be) because then on the time off (weekend or break) they say "oh you were sick you can't go out" so obviously i wouldn't fake today. oh well. the code word for bonus points today is "cyber"

nothing much going on being that i was sick all day. slept untill 2 the past two days. that is nice.

hopefully tomorrow i will be completely well.

so if there is anyone out there who doesn't have school this week like i don't have school this week we should do something assuming i am completely better.  include the word "edgar" you comment for bonus points

so this entry is either going to be really long or really short depending on the amount of detail that i chose to put in.

left yesterday at quarter to five to go to GF. when i got there i set up the KFNW table and got my free ticket and meet and greet passes for doing so. saw a few people before it started but then i went to the meet and greet. the before meet and greet was just chris tomlin and casting crowns. steven was the after one. they weren't there right away because they do a devotional before every concert together. that was really cool i thought. meet and greet was cool, got some pics. then it was time for the concert. i wasn't the biggest fan of casting crowns that night. all they did was have their video on the screen in the background. i didn't come to a concert to see their video...chris was good. could have been more of him but oh well. scc was good aswell. i like his first thing he did with him and his band just the accoustic stuff. it was nice. am i a super big nerd if while i am at the concert i realize things they could be doing better with the words and screen etc. cause i sure did notice when they did stuff that could have been better. i am a nerd.

met up with some peeps at intermission, including but not limited to. emily, hannah, mayville girls, ben, brady, courtney, other courtney, and a few more. afterwards i found more people. a whole lot. lots of people saw me and were like "hey thomas" and i was like "hi" and then i struggled to remember their name. i think i got everybodys. one girl i almost didn't get but then she turned around and it was on the back of her shirt. yay. anyway then the langford guys and annie and i went to perkins. saw a bunch of people there. including cavalier people and and GF people. the cavalier people left a pie for the tip for their server and annie tried to get a peice from her. we told annie she was a horrible person and told the server girl not to give her any cause she was being so rude.

dusty our server was quite possibly the coolest server i have ever had. he is at least number two. i'll fill you in on why in a little bit.

so we were sitting at a table here is the layout

morgan   austen     levi        annie

me          jared     russian     jared

so anyway first austen throws a sugar packet at annie and she is not sure where it came from. she thinks it is this (to quote morgan) "big hawiian looking guy" in a booth a ways away. and morgan convinces her to throw one back at him. then she does. morgan throws one at her now. and she is more confused because the "big hawwian looking guy" has left so she thinks it is the table behind us. (they were at the concert to) we talked with them a little bit. so then after a few more throws form austen and morgan we get dusty our waiter in on this and give him some sugar packets and have him go around to the other side and throw some at her. annis is now super confused, for those of you who don't know annie it is really funny when she gets confused. then kelsey comes and talkes to us and it turns out her cousin who was with her and i used to take piano together. so we got him in on it and he threw some packets at her. it was hilarious. eventually we left perkins and went to caseys for a bit with a few detours on the way. i had my longest phone conversation ever last night. it was about half and half me and morgan talking on our end to heather and lindsey on the other. the total all time was like 50 minutes so 25 minutes for me... that definately shatters my old record of like 3. hung out at caseys for a while that is where the langford guys were staying. i left at about 2:15. good times

woke up this morning and was sick so i didn't go to slt or church. my stomach felt crunched and i just had that icky sick feeling all over. know what i mean? i woke up at two and felt partly better and now i think i am mostly better. hope it stays that way.

well i guess it turned out to be long. hope you enjoyed if you read this far you get 50 bonus points. to let me know you got this far and deserve bonus points put the word "sign" in your comment, don't give away the bonus points make people earn them.

well just got back from the park game. they won of course. i got there a few minutes into the 2nd quarter and from then on they were ahead by 20 points i think the whole time. yeah... good job. well now i am gonna lounge around for a while before leaving to GF to set up the kfnw table and go to the concert. should be a good time. my dad almost had me ride down with all the kfnw people and i was like "umm... no" so i am driving the rover.

well i am gonna go finish watching bourne supremacy. good movie.

have a wonderful rest of the day/weekend.

name the character who says this.  "your first assignment was geneva"
bonus points for the first correct.

In God's Hands,

so today has been nice so far. got out of school at noon cause we wa doing nothing so i came home, ate, watched a little tv, and then took a 4 hour nap. good times... nothing going on today really. tomorrow is the park basketball game at moorhead, if i go it will be my first basketball game at moorhead i go see. then it is the SCC, CT, CC concert. in GF. that last sentence was ll about the abbrviations. well my brian is still not fully woken up from that nap so i don't really have much to say other than what i already have.

all of us going to the concert tomorrow should meet up somewhere after or something.

In God's Hands,

so i entered the game for free preimium for life so....

Solving this jigsaw puzzle and posting about this sweepstakes for Big Red makes me eligible for free Xanga Premium for life...

hey beautiful, yes you,

so today was good. school was nice cause almost no one was there cause of state hockey. we won the game today 3-0. good work us. after school i came home and did stuff for a while

tonight teen vision gave a concert at "rivers edge" its a treatment center place for kids. the people there range from people who have tried to kill themselves to people whose parents weren't good to them and all sorts of other stuff. kia and i both shared a little bit about our lives and God's love for us. the concert part was ok. some of them were into it but the rest just had the "i'm too cool for this" look on their faces. the great part was afterwards talking to the kids. i talked with one who really liked the concert and the message and kia talked with one about what she shared and the bible and things. beau one of the adults with youth for christ who was there shared with another girl. it wax just great to see these kids reaching to God in the midst of their hardships and it was great to be a part of that. witnessing to kids at camp is one thing but it just touches you so much more hearing what these kids had gone through (not that some kids at camp havne't gone through alot) you know what i mean.

sam now has 100 bonus points

thats all i got for now.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

first off. to talk about maia's comment, i can spell i am just to lazy to proof read.

today started at 7:20 when i got to concordia for our KB meet setting up and such. the meet went good. we didn't have all our people so we just got 4th. oh well... not to shabby. it will definately was the lowest we scored all year and will be the lowest we score untill at least state.

church tonight was good. worship was good. awesome songs and atmosphere. all that good stuff. hung out for a while afterwards. till 11:15 left. hey does anyone have a copy of "a case for faith" the adult version. cause i went throught the student version and it seemed like it was really dumbed down. and i want to try the adult version and see what that is like. that would be cool if i could borrow it.

tomorrow no one will be in school cause itsstate hockey but i will be there. yay me.

i should go to bed now cause i am sick... the cold medicine i am on. right after i take it i feel horrible for like 5 minutes... i am not sure why... maybe that is a bad thing. uh oh.

isaiah 6:1-8 bonus points if you have that memorized. i know z money does. anyone else?

woe is me.

i am going to bed.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well so i am getting sick. that is not good, cause i hardly ever get sick so when i do its like BAM then super sick. so hopefully that won't happen. just a wicked cold so far. went out and got medicine today to try prevent the bam effect.

school today then KB practice. i was in charge cause the coaches were over at concordia setting up for tomorrow, we host our meet there tomorrow. it should be fun. the captains and eric went out and bought pop today to sell there tomorrow and so now in my kitchen i have 1296 oz. of regular and diet dr. pepper. sweet. to bad i can't drink it all.

tomorrow moorhead shold do god. i think we can win it but bob is gone so i am not gonna say that for sure cause that throws a wrinkle in the team 1 dynamic so. but we can take them.

i think i should be done being sick now... stink that didn't work.
