EDIT: THIS IS A REALLY BIG ENTRY.

wow. so this past week was sr high. i found out sunday night that i
would be counseling. if i had wanted i could have been a camper but
there i was being a counselor.

as i laid in bed on sunday night i was a little worried as to how the
week would go, but throughout the week God helped me out by giving me a
great co-counselor (except for one thing i will tell you about later)
and a great group of guys in my cabin (one of the boys who was going to
be in my cabin was older than i was, they moved him to a different
cabin on monday morning)

as the campers arrived on monday morning i knew all of mine from
previous years. they are cool guys and i am glad that i got the
oprutunity to be their guide for the week. then we got our teams. the
teams are made up of two cabins a boys cabin and a girls cabin (one
team had 2 girls cabins cause there were 6 cabins for girls and 4 boys)
our team was the divers. we had the best team flag by far, also by far
we had the worst team cheer.

the week went really great. but our cabin constantly reeked of AXE body
spray. i kept telling the boys to use a little less. it never worked.

wednesday i got handed chris camera and i wanted to see how any
pictures i could take. it was really slow but i managed to take 697
pictures in like 2 hours. that was funny. i got some good ones even

wednesday was the pie auction, all the proceeds go to the scholarship
fund to help people who can't afford to come to camp. i paid $116 to
pie raechel kemp. she paid $76 to pie me. then if the totals of all the
pies and offering for the week reached certain goals the campers got to
do certain things. $1000 shave pauls head $2000 joe would get shot with
a paint ball gun $3000 i shave my head $4000 uncle bob would get pied
in the face. the campers raised about 4300 so they got all the rewards.
friday when i woke up my hair was 8 inches long. friday afternoon it
became 1/4 inch long. my head is cold.

i survived the
SHAVE
SHOOT
SHAVE
AND PIE

thursday morning our cabin voted unanamously to not clean the cabin
during cabin cleanup time and work on our skit for the night. thus at
cabin of the day time at lunch we came in last with -28 points for how
clean our cabin was. oh yeah. charlie said that it was a pit and that
we "messed it up really bad" really we didn't. we just didn't clean.

thursday night was skit night. it was a little late getting started so
my cabin started singing "na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey
goodbye" we sang it for about twenty minutes. then some song battle
erupted with each side trying to get their song to be louder. the side
i was on, singing good songs, had about a quarter of the people and we
were still louder. we were acctually singing too the other side was
yelling. yay for us.

then i went up to tell a story as marrisia was trying to play the quiet
game. i grabbed the mic and said "so i have a story to tell you" and
the crowd went ballistic. it was great. then i started telling the
penguin joke and jill came up and bit me. hard. really hard.

then it was about time to get started. my cabin took first place. great
work guys. that earned us more than enough points to make up for the
-28. skit night got done at like 1:30. stinker

friday morning our alarms didn't go off and jon came and woke our cabin
up at 8:41 eleven minutes alte for breakfast. yeah then we slept though
cabin cleanup and cabin activity too.

then on friday then yesterday i went into the cabin for bible study and it just reeked of axe.
really realy bad. my eyes started watering. so we had bible study outside.

friday at chapel i gave my testimony. since i was going to talk about
graduating i told them right at the begining "i'm 18" later after the
campfire a girl named Ky came up to me and said "you're really 18, i
though you were at least like 28"

then at night time i found out that it reeked of axe because the boys
sprayed it all over my bed and pillow. my pillow was wet that is how
much was on there. yeah . gross.

and without my knowledge my  co-counsleor told all the kids in our
cabin to not listen when i told them to be quiet and just to keep
talking as long as they could.  everynight i had to tell them to
shut up and go to bed so the last night he wanted to see what i would
do if they wouldn't.  i don't really care. i would have thought it
was funny if it weren't to me.

last night i went to a masquerade ball. it was pretty sweet. would have
been sweeter if i were allowed to dance. northwestern college had me
sign a thing saying that i can't drink smoke or dance. all three i am
fine without.

anyway i had to make a mask before i went so first i tried out of
cardboard. yea that didn't work. they iwent to walmart to find those
cheep plastic ones. couldn't find them. but i found some craft foam
that had sticky on one side so i made some masks out of that (i was not
sure how long it would stay on so i made 3) i made them on the car ride
there. if you ever want to be really nervous try cutting things in your
lap with an exactoknife on a gravel road and over railroad tracks. yeah
scary. but the mask held good for almost 4 hours. i took it off when i
left and it was still pretty sticky. i wanna try were one in the pool
cause i have two left now.

got some really sweet pictures i will post some later. i also have the
best picture of me ever to put up. seriously the picture makes me look
"dead sexy"

everyone remember, "being sexy doesn't mean you have to have sex"

today was church and then bumming around at home. don't have to be back
untill noon tomorrow. i have two weeks left at camp and i have some
catching up to do in the mail game. sams family went to georgia and so
he is 16 points ahead. anything you can do to help would be wonderful.
sarah smithson sent me the best package ever. see if you can send a
cooler one. i son't know if it is possible

QUESTION: what did i watch today (here is a hint i got it from netflix)

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

quick entry.

first off i might be home this weekend if i can find a ride there. its
my dads 50th birthday tomorrow so yeah... gotta at least try be home

quick funny story.
the speaker for the week (scott sheets) and i were trying to do a
little project on the computer in the tabernacle and it wasn't working
so we were trying all this stuff. none of it was working and so we were
trying more stuff. then his kid says "dad come here" and scott says
"after a little bit, we need to work on this" his son says "i have an
idea that might help it work" "well what is it" his dad replied" his
kid motioned for him to come over. so scoot walks over and his kid says
"maybe try something that you don't think will work and it will work
and then it will be fixed"

great advice from the 5 year old (i am not sure exactly how old he is but he is about 5 maybe younger.)

i got to be in a top secret meeting yesterday about SR HI camp. it made
me feel so special. its gonna be great next week. all of you should
send me mail before you come. even if you aren't coming

well i gotta be out at the AP again for skills class in a few minutes so i better finish up

to guess but hey) he wasn't that far off. it was dug out to 97 feet at
one time. it is still about 60 feet but we are not sure exactly.

QUESTION: what number or letter is my harness?
(most have numbers telling what they are but some the tape that the
number was written on has come off and they have letters on them
because that is what was on them back in the days of Canada)

wow this weekend was pretty fun.

so there is this bridge. Thompson Bridge. its fun to jump off.

went last weekend once with sam and eric. then this weekend went
yesterday with caleb raechel eric rachael but yesterday the battery ran
out on my camera so we jsut went again today. eric was gone but lori
took his place.

it was pretty sweet

i will snag some stills from the video sometime and try put them up so you can see how sweet this bridge is.

that was the best part of the weekend. coming in close were my nap on the blob yesterday. and the potluck after church today.

weeding was fun. but only cause i didn't. raechel kemp weeded, cause
for some reason nbeknownst to me she likes it. i laid on the ground and
talked with her while she was weeding to keep her company.

yeah good weekend overall

its junior hi 2 this week. then next week is senior hi camp. all of you should come for senior hi camp. it will be great fun

what else is new. i am trying to make this a super good update cause the last one was not a good update.

oh yeah, my mom went to vegas (the home of me gma and gpa) cause the
docters found that my gma has bladder cancer. so they have to do some
tests to see if she has it anywhere eslse or what. so pray for that.
hopefully it will turn out good.

i think that that is about all that i have to say.

incase you haven't seen my address on here a bajillion times already
