well this is different. lots of options and thing on top.... well

so i was a few minutes late to chapel today and the lady takind down
the checkin things saw me (i was wearing my staff shirt from last year)
and said "i used to always make my son wear shirts that color when i
took him to the park" it was really funny

started taking notes on the laptop today. it works really good. i like
it. can get everything typed and rearrange some stuff from my ADD profs
talks after they are done and it all makes sense.

played raechel in ping pong. i beat her in 3 out of five games. it was
pretty fun. the last game went up to like 27 (normally 21 but win by
two) it was a nice way to spend the afternoon.

then we ate supper together, i think i amn sick cause i didn't get
seconds at lunch or supper tonight. maybe i should go to bed early
tonight like 12....?

needed to go potty tonight on the way back from supper so i stopped at
moyer and climbed into the balcony of a room (i think i have only gone
through the door once) but after using the bathroom i hung out for a
while, later i came up for a slogan for their quad. "come for the
toilet, stay for the fellowship" we might get shirts

this weekend i might meet my brother/cousin's fiance.... i guess i should cause they are getting married in like a few monthes

oh man last night was the hartill (girls dorms) open house/cookie
night. it was great. i got a plate and went from room to room getting
cookies my first plate got to be about a foot tall

today i had to wake up early for a stinkin not taht great class
its "first year in" every freshman takes it. its boring. and today our
leader was like 30-45 minutes late so it was pointless to get up early
anyway... grrr...

had to get a new mail center key today cause the big packet i got that
had mine in it is no where to be found, in any of my dormrooms

saturday night.... well sunday morning technically i thought i should
eat something even though i wasn't hungry. so i grabbed the big (33
cup) bag of fruity dino bites i just bought that day and then went to
the stucen to eat some.... ended up eating 5 big bowls and half of the
bag....16.5 cups of fruity dino bites.... yeah

went to church at bethlehem baptist on sunday. saw some people and then saw jesse reimer. we went to chipotle it was nice

my stinkin computer won't read any cds or dvds now... stinkin less than
a month old... emailed dell about it cause i alrady did all the trouble
shooting things and a full system diagnostic. yeah....

last night when others were studing and i had nothing to do. so i
borrowed a book from someone (not even for a class i was in) and
pretended to read when people would come over i would be like "hey i am
trying to study" and everyone in the circle would laugh cause they all
everyone knows i don't study. it was pretty fun.... sort of a stupid
story i guess but

well i had OT and western civ

now i am doing nothing for while i might try to faek study tonight again... we'll see

last night went to star wars III with my brother and JJ and mike. was
alright. the theater had buckets for their popcorn which was cool but
then they didn;t hvae squirt butter or salt. just that fake already on
the popcorn stuff. bleh... oh well

came back did some stuff with my brother and some other guys.

got into the dorm at about 2:30 or 3... something like that....

woke up today at 11:30 got my 8 hours

filmed some stuff for the variety show my brother and i are hosting.
then 6-8:30 was a luau on the island. all the signs said sept instead
of august so we told everyone we saw it was tonight. everyone we told
came.... and for a while it was only people we told. made me feel
special.

after that watched a movie with some people. it was a good time. i
showed how nerdy i was but other people were nerdy too and one was a
girl so it wasn't too. its always more fun being a nerd among other
nerds.....

hey everyone in knowledge bowl... remember that guy in the chain mail
and cape and everything.... he was a NNNEEEERRRRRDDDDDDD. yeah

that is what the upper paragraph reminded me of.

was gonna play some table tennis with raechel tonight but JJ and mike
were hogging the table (not really they were just using it when we
walked up) so we should be playing tomorrow.

so today all i have had to eat was two spoonfuls of yogurt and a small
bag or gardetos. but somehow i am not hungry. i might just eat
something cause i know i should.

but the night is still young so i am off to see what there is going down

so yesterday i was hanging out in some girl dorms (between 5 and 9)
because everyone else i knew was studing so i was bored but they ended
up studing too. so i wrote a poem on with those magnet words on a
picture frame they had. it was pretty good. tought cause there weren't
very many words to pick form

played a nice game of pit. raechel was there. she played the old "one of every kind trick" yeah....

got a 32 oz smoothie yesterday because it was only a dollar more than
the 20 oz. and i found out that 32 oz is more smootie than anyone ever
needs. it took me (and a few other people has a little bit) a whole
hour to eat it.... yeah it was good but thats alot of smoothie. i think
i will get the 20 from now on.

got lofts in the dorm last night. but only 2 so far so josh and tony
have them and i am sleeping on my mattress on the floor. its pretty fun
actually.

stayed up late in the student center last night. helping people with
homework. i wasn't even in the classes i was helping with. so i think i
am going to keep helping them with bio the just test out of it. cause i
will be going through the whole thing anyway.

this morning i woke up to go to chapel and just as i was walking out found out
from my roommate who had just come in that the power was out and chapel
is canceled. did you know that i don't need lights to get ready. thats
pretty cool. i think... maybe

i didn't even realize the power was out.

the power came back on like 15 minutes before class so we had to go to that

wow my western civ teacher is so ADD its funny.... he jumps around so much. its fun but makes notes tough

OT the guy goes through his power point way to fast. couldn't write
everything down. we are sort of upset about that but hey.... meh

hanging in the student center right now. hopefully i have something to
do this weekend and some people to do it with. i might be going to
crystal EFC on sunday have to see. i was talking with nicole and she
was talking about her church and i said "what church?" and she said
"crystal" so i asked "that geoff safford's church right?" cause he has
met spoken at camp a few times some years ago. so she says "yeah wanna
talk to him" pulls out her cell phone and calls him and says "i am
talking with thomas kvamme from cooperstown bible camp and he says he
knows you so here he is..." and handed the phone to me.... that was
sort of odd. but hey.... he told me to come visit and that nicole is
"one of the finest young ladies to ever come out of crystal" so
congrats to her for that.

well today was the first day of classes and i survived.

chapel was crazy. it was literally packed out. people were sitting on
the floor even. it was really cool. we had open mic praise God time. i
thought it was going to seem really long but it was good and really
sweet to hear all these things that God did.

then i had western civ. didn't know how that was going to go but it
ended up being pretty cool so far. the guy talked about some cool stuff
and it seems like i  already know lots about what we will talk
about (mesopotamia - vietnam) but that should be not to bad...raechel
kemp is in that class with me

next i had old test. that should be pretty cool. lots of reading
though. we are reading the whole thing during the semester. its gonna
be a bunch of reading

my class gets over at 1:45 and lunch gets over at 2 so i have to rush over if i want to have time to get seconds.

i played some ping pong today, then we crammed 7 people into a car and drove to supper at naz it was good. i went back for 3rds

so i am still working on knowing everyone here. its hard to remember everyone when you meet so many people at once... its crazy

well today was fun. started out with a seminar of teachers saying "go
to class" "take notes" blah balh blah... then i had lunch at the
picnic. had computer training. its was basic stuff. so i just played
around

then played ultimate for 2 hours. it was good. i wasn't even the sweatest guy there
i think i am getting in better shape. played 5 hours in the last 3 days

then it was supper time. i went to that without showering cause the
dorms are like a bajiollion miles away and my room is the one on the
very end and the ulitmate field is right outside the eatery. yeah so...
it wasn't too bad. nothing like that hour and a half game at camp..
eww...

anyways my new fun thing to do is talk to girls through thier window.
they always wave me over or yell at me when i am walking by so it just
happens... thats how popular i am with the ladies... i mean.... um

well today i was in the book store buying books. i found out that 2of
my classes are only quad 2. so i don't hvae them yet. and they were
both tuesday thursday classes so thursday i have no classes and tuesday
i only have the freshman class that everyone has to take and then
evangelism and missions at 6 at night
not to shabby. i can handle that for those of you wondering MWF i have
old testement history and literature, history of western civ , next
quad i will not have the freshman class or evan. and missions but will
add principles of biblcal interpretation and LITERATURE OF FOODS.
and everyday i have chapel at 10:30 (thats my first thing everyday but tuesday)

i decided that the first day of literature of food i am going to walk in eating a book.

well the biggest news about yesterday was that i moved dorms. third doom room i have been assigned to in under a week

my room had 4 another room was supposed to have 3 but 1 din't show so
they had 2. i moved in there got out of my cramped room. man is it nice
not to have your desk in the middle of the floor. downside is now i
have a bottome bunk. i already hit myself on the top bunk getting
out.... gotta get used to that

i got in a paint war yesterday. we were doing service projects all over
teh twin cities and so my group went to emma nortons residence. its a
transitional home for ladies. or some official title like that but one
of our jobs was painting a shed. i was paint next to elise for part of
that and she was painting by the latch and said "this is ugly i am
going to paint it, if i were that ugly i would want to be painted" but
the only part of that i heard was "i would want to be painted" so i put
some paint on her arm.... oops... then she told me all of what i said
and i felt bad sorta and apologized and she painted my arm. we kept
getting eachother through out the day. one time she came at me and did
a really cool move i learned to disarm people with knives. i grabbed
her had and (gently) swung her arm around, twisted her hand and grabbed
the paint brush. everyone who saw it said it was really cool. finally 4
years of martial arts paid off in the "looking cool" department.

last night i won alot of stuff at this fair type thing we had. i one
bbq sauce, a hoodie, 15 dollars at KFAN the resturant and a free
chipotle burrito. so i have some food for a while. and a grab bag with
easy mac cheezits fruit snacks granola bar etc. worth while haul. and
there was cotton candy so

well now i am off to the picnic that there is for lunch. its not really
a picnic they jsut have the food line outside... oh well.

well so i am at college now. its going good

my room is a little cramped cause there are four of us in there.
currently my desk is in the middle cause there is no place else to put
it cramped but good

orientation has been good. met lots of people i even remember some of
their names. some guy keeps thinking my name is ben. oh well. can't get
mad at him cause i don't know his name....

doing lots of fun stuff... went rollar skating last night. then
levi(non-darling) dave and i went mini golfing with rollar skates on.
it was pretty sweet. i got called "the nicest guy we have talked to all
day" by a girl. that made me feel special. today a girl (from
california) said she thought i was from california because i look so
californian. i don't know how that works cause i am really white

anyways its going good here. worship time is pretty sweet. like 600 or so of us wit just the freshmen here worshiping. its sweet

well today i woke up an went to the doctor.

for some reason my doctor was a pediatrician, so i think it was wierd
for the nurse to have someone big in there. it was wierd for me to
cause the gowns you know the ones that open in the back that are no fun
anyway.... well since i was in the kids department they gave me the
biggest one they had but... yeah  to didn't even go down past my
boxers. yeah that was wierd.

i have a different story about at the doctor but it is not for everyone

today i started working on laundry from camp

then for supper went to royal fork man that was good.
afterwards my dad decided i needed new clothes. so i let him buy me some. i picked them out i just had to make sure they fit.

welcome to my brain... not much goes on here

well today was a good day, got a little bored cause i sat around about
the whole time. not used to that (shut up thomas) (banley that is)

ended the day good, went to kicking and screaming with sam at the dollar fifty

so for now i am driving the geo metro which has no amenities. so i put
the laptop on the passenger seat and use that for music. works pretty
slick

well, here we are once again

i spoke in church this morning. it went pretty well i think for not really planning out what i was going to say at all.

its wierd being back in town knowing that i am leaving in 5 days.

this afternoon was filled with general lazyness. nothing much more too
it. i took a nap but that is reasonable cause i had to be at church at
8:15. which isn't really that bad, during the year i am ther at 7:30
but this summer church at saron (the country church a little out of
cooperstown) didn't start till 11 so 8:15 is pretty early

my mom went to vegas today because something went wrong with my
grandma's kemo so she is in the hospital now. pray for that. they
didn't really tell me what was wrong or how bad it is or anything so
yeah. hopefully its not that bad but i don't know

but i gotta go pick up my brother from work now so

well i got home from camp last night at about 10:45 11 something like that.

opened up my new toy. got a laptop. a deel inspiron 700m. its really
stinkin small. i opened it and thought "is that all? thats it?"

but i really like it. its good, its small and it was cheep (well not
cheep but a really good deal) if anyone wants to bu me another one i
wouldn't mind

i am using it right now, sitting in the west acres food court getting free hi speed.
the keboard is a little small so if i type some stuff wrong that is why

camp was good. this summer we didn't have to use the rescue bag the
whole summer untill this week we had to use it twice. stinkin naz. ask
and i might tell some stories to you (in person) i might put them on
here but the one about levi (a camper) would be like a freakin novel
so...

i speak in church tomorrow talk about camp. don't know what to say yet.

sam and i are going to a movie at 1. we are still in best friend mode

Hello to all of you first off;

As some of you already know I am in a mail competition this
summer at camp.  Camp finishes this week
and thus so does the mail game. In this final stretch emails have played a
major role. Even though they are only worth half a point mass amounts have come
in and swung the points rapidly in the favor of my enemy.

Those of you who are also friends of his and received his
latest rallying email know he alluded to great revolutions and other historical
actions that require much work and endurance. I would however not want to talk
about great revolutions, battles, or even endurance or work. I would like to
talk about friends. It has been my privilege to call you friends and to know
that I can count on you for help and supporting times of need.

This is a time of need; my opponent is currently in the lead
with 273.5 points more than me.  Some
would be discouraged by this overwhelming obstacle. I however know that with
the help of all of you I can overcome this seemingly large obstacle. I believe that
you help in the form of emails can be enough to beat him and his supporters.

well i registered for classes today at northwestern

woke up way to early and drove to the cities. got to NWC and went to
some boring lunch thing. then i ran into mike clemson while he was
fixing someones computer. later i saw micaela fried driving around.
then while i was waiting to meet with my advisor (he was late by like
30 minutes) i was hanging out in th hal with some admissions people and
saw mandy johnson. met with my and registered for classes. i got some
interesting ones. "literature of foods." don't really know what that
one is but hey.... i got no classes before chapel, that starts at 10:30
so waking up will be not so hard.

well today at the adventure program was interesting. we had to go
across the elements and help 4 people today. i had to perform one
rescue even. yeah i don't know for what reason these nazarene campers
are so much worse than the normal campers. anyways

that is about all i did today. i started paking some stuff up to take
home tonight for when i register tomorrow. cause last year when sam and
i tried to fit all in sams car and we couldn't so i had to leave some
for like 3 weeks later. well.

well the last week of camp has officially started. sorta sad but also
we know that means i will be able to nap and such after this week so
its not all bad.

well i still have a cold and i am just about out of dayquil. we'll see how that goes.

i might have ryan go pick me up some more later cause i am not sure if
i can buy more now or not, i know there is a limit of two at a time,
don't want them to think i am a meth maker or anything.

todays sermon at saron was good. linn's dad spoke. i really liked it. don't rally know what more to say on that one.

we played some ultimate uno last night. wasn't to shabby.

there is a potluck picnic today that we might go to be we are not sure, who knows

yeah this cold stinks. my nose is all stuffed up and my eyes are all
like "i hate brightness" and my face just feels like it got ran over.

i napped this afternoon while everyone else here went on a canoe ride.
i think i got the better end of that deal. my nap was so nice

there are no kleenex to be found at camp. i spose there could be some
in the office but it is locked now cause no one is in it. so i gotta
blow my nose on paper towels. thats no fun.

someone should mail me some kleenex. asking for them now is not even
about the mail game. its about my nose feeling like its getting sanded.

but about the mail game. i got some letters today but sam got some
packages. so i am still behind by a bunch. come on boys and girls i
know you can do it.

yeah so i am sick. i got this stupid cold thing goin on and its no good.

yesterday around 11 i came to get medicine at the office and jon gave
me some sudafed but it was pills. i can't swallow pills. yes i know 4
years can swallow pills but i just can't do it. anyway i went over to
linn in the kitchen and she gave me some ice cream to crush up my pills
in. man that ice cream tasted bad (because of the pills)

anyway so we went into town last night to rent a movie and get cold
medicine/food at the grocery store. well i go to the cold asile and all
the cold medicine is locked up. with some sign saying something about
meth and locking it up. so i find all the other stuff i want first (pop
and pizza rolls and lunchables) and then go to the checkout to get them
to un lock the thing. well the lady unlocks it and i grap a dayquil and
a nyquil. go to the counter to pay and i have to fill out this thing
will all my info and what kind of stuff i got. and apparently you can
only get two things, no more. this is the first time i have ever had to
do that before. well. if it cuts down on meth thats fine by me.

last night was one of those nights where you wake up alot during the
night and it feels like you never were asleep so i don't think i slept
untill like 4 but i know i must have dosed off a few times in there. i
hope. woke up at 8 out of habit. and forced myself to go back to bed
untill 11. took some nasty "orange" medicine. i am not sure if it is
suppoed to taste orange or just look it. anyways.

still behind in the mail game. lets give sam a taste of bitter defeat.

well i updated last night but it didn't show up so um, poopy

ANSWER: i called two people, i know what you are
thinking "2 people for 5 minutes thats like 2.5 minutes a person, and
thats a little long for thomas to talk on the phone" you are right
cause i called my dad like 3 times cause i was filling out some forms
and needed to ask them questions.

hey so i got a new look for this page including my dead sexy picture as the new profile pic.

i have another sweet picture to put up sometime. its me jumping off
thompson in one of my masks from the masquerade. the picture totally
caught me in a superman pose. and i don't look fat at all.

i drove the toro today. one little incident at the begining of the drive but now i am pretty good at it.

sam is beating me in the mail game by 21 points come on people. send in
the big guns. (don't acctually mail guns thats against the law i think)


please send me mail. i have a few reply letters to send to people still
i wasn't able to write any last week, no time. so i will get on
