friday night a group of us went to the sentinal. it's a pretty good
movie. keifer's character is kind of a mix of jack bauer and sherlock
holmes. i really liked the movie, it had thinking in it aswell as
action.

saturday was the variety show. after that some of us went swimming.
jerry and i decided to see who would stay in longer. he was in for 40
mins i was in for 50 because i had to go around to the bridge because
nate, micah, and colin said so. i was walking around to the bridge and
the seaweed was so bad close to it. it was packed down from winter
still so it was almost solid but then your foot would sink through and
it would grab onto you up to your knees

after swimming we went to perkins. i was cold the whole time and i
think i smelled like lake really bad, but no one else said they could
smell it so thats good.

sunday i woke up to nate trying to put a sock in my mouth. he was just
starting and it was not in my mouth yet but hanging over my head. i
really was just kind of out of it and didn't know what it was. i
thought it was a raw chicken breast at first.

sunday night i had a strange dream

monday was a normal day. school and what not.

tuesday we had a choir concert at concordia academy high school. first
we sang for their chapel, then we had a choral exchange with both thier
choirs.
we had pizza when we came back to northwestern. then i napped untill
6:20, ate and the wen had our choir concert with womens choral, mens
chorus, and chamber singers. i think this was my favorite concert to
sing this year.

cleaned the room after that. hung out for a while. nate jerry and i
were supposed to meet with micah in his room at 11 and we were going to
play a game. well nate and micha never showed up but jerry and i did so
we just waited in micahs room for an hour watching stomp.

i am in art class now. it is so boring. i wish i didn't have to come.

ok so this is long but its a good read. read it

well i was home untill sunday. saturday night i went into mexican
village at midnight and helped clean/paint/remodel. they called it
remodeling. i am not sure how much real remodeling was really being
done, i sw somw people taking out the lattice stuff between the boothes
but how much more they did i have no idea. i was working in the back we
painted the break room and pressure washed the floor back by the walk
in coolers and the fryers.... it was so disgusting. i have never seen
water so black before in my life.

anyways. so i worked 12-3:30 then came home and showered cause it was
gross... didn't get to bed till like 5. then for some reason we were in
the second row in church (no one in front of us) and i was struggling
to stay awake... ahhh.... oh

came back sunday. it was nice having a day off here to chill and have fun with people without classes.

tuesday at supper nate and i caught a mouse. we named him ice mountain
because he really likes powerade. nate was flipping a cup over to catch
him. when he tipped it some powerade dribbled out and then ice mountain
ran like a foot and a half at least maybe two feet over to under the
cup and started drinking the powerade that had spilled out. nate just
set the cup down.

the powerade made it was easier than we thought it would be. after he
was caught he was licking the powerade off the inside of the glass. he
liked it so much. later he got really hyper, i guess powerade works. he
also likes bread and cheese, he in no way likes corn. not at all.

wednesday i was walking to supper. (with sandals on and on the
sidewalk) when i step near this stick/twig on the ground. i guess 
stepped a little two close and it got stuck in my foot.at first i
didn't realize that it went in my foot i just thought it touched my
foot. i realized when i tried to step and this stick was stuck to my
foot hanging off. long story short we took it out. it was a two and a
half inch thorn that went an inch into the side of my foot. it didn't
hurt when it was in at all. it was a little wierd because i could
wiggle my big toe and the stick would move. it hurt taking it out and
it hurt so much that night i couldn't sleep and it hurt yesterday but
now it is pretty good. still hurts some when i move and what not but
its getting better.

i might put a picture up sometime so you can see what it looked like.
it didn't bleed at all with the stink in. so it just looks kind of like
i glued a stick to my foot. i am not sure why anyone would glue a stick
to their foot but hey. what do i care what you glue to your foot.

so later wednesday night i am telling nate about my expierence. and
show him my stick from my foot. turns out earlier he broke that branch
off a tree and was trying to hit drew with the thorn. then drew took
the stick and threw it on the path.
its all thier fault my foot hurt.

thats my interesting news for this week.

oh and i got that test back from the class i am not in but i took the test. i got an 87. pretty good i think.

well i came home yesterday. got burgertime. got M&H. thats when i knew i was home.

well our house is just about sold, move out by july 1st the house
getting built won't be built untill late aug or sept. my parents are
looking into renting a house/apt for the summer. my dad is pretty keen
on the idea of having an RV for the whole summer to live in. mom is not
so keen on it

played ultimate for a week straight (meaning every day for a week) then not
yesterday or today. i miss it. it sure is a good sport. maybe i can
teach ultimate as a skills class this summer. that would be one sweet
skills class.

well i think that is all i have to say right now... hope it was worth it

basically olber's paradox says that because the universe is infinate
and there are infinately many stars then why is the night sky not
filled with light. basically its because some stars are so far away
that the light from them has not reached us yet. so eventually in
billions of years the whole night sky will be lit by stars.
just so you know i would have let you answer with looking it up... you

well got back thursday...
got into college dorm life quickly again with a midnight grill time and
then a bunch of guys in our hall wrestling. first i was wrestling one
guy, then another joined. i could handle two. i was staying alive
against 3 but then when there was 4 i lost. oh well

i really have no recollection of what i did friday... i remember sleeping in... thats all... oh well

saturday i hung out. sunday went to church with josh and jenilee.
sunday night i joined ian and other folks in a study group. the group
was studying for a test in scientfic thought.
i am not in that class, but we were talking about discovering elements
and olbers paradox and fun stuff life that so i stayed for a while.then
monday i didn't have a class during their test so i went to class with
them. i was just sitting there and the professor comes around to hand
out the test and says "are we all taking the test?" and i replied "yes,
i have been studying" the test went really well. i for sure got  a
solid b on it, maybe an a. i am looking forward to getting it back

have been more active again now that it is nice out. played ultimate
friday, saturday, and sunday. yesterday played softball and volleyball,
today have ultimate and volleyball later.

good times.

i am going to be working at camp again this summer. for sure now.
i will be a senior counselor. fun stuff

gonna be home thursday evening sometime till monday sometime...

well this is the last entry from nashville. at least for a while at least... hopefully next year i'll be back again.

still not a great amount of free stuff. i almost won a 57 inch flat screen HD tv last night. it was a drawing and the guy had to go through 48 numbers untill he finally got on that somebody had. my number was like 2 away from being called twice. two higher and two lower... ahh. that would have been sweet to win.

some drawings later today and then we start the trek home.

well so nashville is going good. lots of sweet people here. lots of fun... not as much free stuff this year as last year. they really should work on that.

last night there was a sweet thunderstorm and i videotaped it from my 21 floor room. is crazy good looking.

well here i am, comin to ya from the magnificent nashville public library.

really this is pretty magnificent. its the best public library i have ever been in. yeah...

well we got here yesterday. nothing really starts untill tomorrow. some little stuff tonight but not much. its fun walking around seeing everyone getting setup and watching the hotel kind of transform from an ordinary hotel to the most lively place ever.

so far today i slept in then came here and read the first 3 chapters of "rocket boys" the autobiograghy of homer hickam jr... you know... they guy from october sky. i have wanted to read the book for a long time but could never find it. so i am going to read it this week here.
