Thursday (Christmas): wonderful christmas got some good stuuf but thats not what its about. Jesus loves you and came to die for your sins and mine. if you wanna know more talk to me or someone.

Friday: went bowling with mike clemson and austin volla that was pretty good time. then we went to M&H for some chili dogs. yummy. came to my house for a while, went to school of rock at the ubck fifty. i have a major complaint about that movie when it is the end and every one is soloing there is on bass solo! i am gonna write and complain about that you all should too. came back to my house i tought mike how to play "smoke on the water" on bass. he called ruby after he found out that she and michael were going out and she didn't tell him... then we ended up going to rubys and watched "how to deal" that guy... macon or whatever i don't like him or his "jedi mind trick" thing.. if i were her i would have hit him  oh well... then  i broke their hydabed cause i am fat... first i fell throught a floor now i broke a hydabed...oh well

Saturday: went to marguerite and found the stand i want for my bass but it is fifty dollars and i don't think i want to spend that. i think i am goning to try make one. went to walmart i didn't find what i was looking for but i forgot what i was looking for by now anyways. it was my parents anniversary.

Sunday: church. rich fredine did the message... for those of you who don't go to my church or know rich he sounds exactly like sean connery. its weird when sunday during the service you close youreyes and james bond is preaching.... oh well. after church i went to bekah's and we ate pizza and watched pirates. the best part was when we were talking and somehow got on the subject of my birthday and how it was on wednesday and ellie says "thats new years eve, is your birthday on new years eve every year?" then i came home for i was having a RISK party at my house at 6. carly called and said " i was gonna have a game party and play settlers but i don't know how to play. can we just combine our partys?and you could teach us how to play?" after much descussion with the guys at my house we said yes" so they came over. and so 6 guys playing risk (counting me) and 4 girls learning how to play settlers (being taught by me) that took about an hour and a half to explain since it is a little complicated and since one would get up to get something and be gone for two minutes and then come back and i would just start and another would need something else and be gone for 2 minutes and so on an so on. yeah but over all a great time then just a great time of fun had by all even after the games were done. after the girls left all the guys stayed and prayed. it was pure prayer from like 12:46 untill about 1:30 it was great. if you could pray for us guys too i won't mention specifics but we all have things we need prayer for. little or big. if you got anything you would like me to pray for you about i would be glad to do it. i am in  the middle of writing a song to jesus so i am gonna go do that i just felt the need to write all this. i feel like i am forgetting something but i am gonna leave it if i remember i weill put it later

Trivia: it was the patomic or how ever you spell it river

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

hello again

Saturday: my dad went to get tickets for the 12ish show of Return of the King, but they were out so he got us ones for the 2ish show. so what did we do for 2 hours. went to Rae Bon (where my mom works) and played with embrodery machines. and it turns out that one of her coworkersis getting one but will be gone when it is delivered so we get it for a week, heres the best part, it costs like 4 grand. then we went to ROTK its was wonderful. then i went to the mall for a little bit. saw bill at oj and i got a banana for 50 cents.

Sunday: church then snow football with ryan kahly and the todts. then it appeared that my car was leeking transmission fluid. so i got a ride from them to the todts for hot chocolate and some catch phrase. then ben ryan and i went and got my car and drove it to my house (we know now it was not leeking. the fluid must have been there from some other car) then we went puppet shopping while wearing our puppets (lambchops, tiger, and roudolph) we went ery where and couldn't find any good puppets, anyone have a good place to get puppets. well while we were at the mall we were looking at the clearance in JCPenny and saw a purple shirt marked down from like 40 to 7something and me and ben said ryan you are the only person we know who could pull that shirt off. and he said "yeah... but it has white buttons" so i said if he bought the shirt i would but buttons on it for him. so he bought it. While we were at the mall we played the how many people do you know game. ben had 6 ryan had 5 and i got 15.i win. while we were driving out of the mall ryan called his friend alicia and she asked us to come over to her appartment so we did. her and her room mate were there we talked for a while, learned they had two "pet" rabbits. they actually are wild but the walk by their porch and get some food from alicia and shanda so they call them pets. they put out some coulifour for them to eat. (old smelly couliflour) then while we were ben was talking about how he goes to bethel in the cites and alicia say hey "wait a sec"walks into her room and walks out with a bethel shirt on a hanger. and says "this bethel?" and she ends up giving the shirt to ben an someone left it in hre car or something and she really needed that hanger she said. after we left there we went and rented holes and came to my house and played risk and watched holes that started at about 12 and then we wrote thank you notes to alicia and shanda at about 2 they are they funniest things you will ever read ( if you read them)

Monday: well i told you a litte of monday already (up till 2)  i wrapped all my christmas presents. every year i go buy my own rapping paper so all my presents look the same and not like anyone elses. this year it was from walgreens a red background and penguins.

Tuesday: nothing much untill after supper then ryan and zach kahly and ben came by and said we are kidnapping you so i walked into the dinind room and said "they are kidnapping me bye" and my dad says "ok but you have to do the dishes first" and think"what thats not how its sposed to go i am sposed to leave right now" oh well i did the dishes quick. first we went to bens house to get the thank you notes we wrote monday morning. then we went to walmart and bout six hangers crome they are pretty. and then to ghettomart and bought some fresh couliflour. and came to my house to wrap them with my paper. brought them to alicias and set them on the porch where they set the couliflour on sunday went to go see a movie. got on interstate and said shoot we forgot the letters. went back put the ben put the letters on. we went to see radio. while we were there ben realized he put the letters on top with nothing to keep them from blowing away. so after the movie we went back and checked they were not missing so we rearanged everything and left. that was all for last night.

wednesday: nothing yet just wkaing up and writing this. christmas eve service tonight but who know what i will do before that.

so the answer to the triva question (and a new one) was 146 it came about from knowledge bowl when the question said somehting about 46 people dying and another team buzzed in and i thought that was the amount at the TSWF but we waited for more info and it turned out it was some bridge the broke and they fell in to the_____________ river. we ended up getting it can you?

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

So I am going to update you all again. Here goes

Wednesday: school then church.  church was good. Only me and Dave were in lugg though oh well

Thursday: school, practice for Christmas musical at church

Friday: school then practice again. I went to river after that. I missed the whole talk but I got it on tape because they record it for KFNW and I bring them the tape. Saw a bunch of people. On the way home Ellie followed me to her house.

Saturday: found the rules for the game NASH on the internet. John Nash from a beautiful mind invented NASH. It is not the one in the movie… it is in a deleted scene. I made a six by six board. Musical at church had to be there at 5:30. I made a six by six board. I came home from the musical. Thought a six by six board was too easy/quick so I made a 12x12 board. Its now more fun.

Sunday: musical for both services. I did that. Stayed and got the youth room ready for the Christmas party on Wednesday, which included but was not limited to making cookies and snowflakes.

Monday: school nothing

Tuesday: two hours late school nothing

Wednesday: school church, went to church at 3:45 because I had to set up the lights since they took them out to use them for the Christmas musical. While I was setting them up, I ripped my pants right in the …umm… there. And I didn’t have time to go home and change so I had to were them and hope no one (well no girls) noticed. Afterwards I played Royce in a few games of fooseball. I gave ruby and Nathan a ride home.

Thursday: school. Since I had been playing a lot of NASH at lunch and before classes I had gotten pretty good on the 12x12 board and made it so I could win in only 4 turns so I made a 24 by 24 board in drafting. I came home. My dad brought home a poster 2’ by 3’ poster cover with a Plexiglas front so I put it in that. Now you can write on that with dry erase markers.

Friday: knowledge bowl meet at Concordia. I brought NASH to play. My team (Moorhead 2) got 7th on the written and then moved up to 3rd then up to 2nd .then down to ninth but fro that we got back up to third over all . Park Christian got first. Moorhead 1 got second we got third Moorhead 4 got 4th and Moorhead 3 got 28th. We did pretty well except for Moorhead 3. Props go to PC for winning. Came back to school for seventh hour. Instead of the lyceum, I played trivial pursuit with Mr. C’s class. That is all so far today. It is Christmas break now. I have nothing to do on Monday or Tuesday. I need something to do. If you have something to do tell me and I can do it too or something.

Trivia question of the day: how many people died in the triangle shirt waist fire?

First one to answer right gets points.

I wrote this entry in word so that is why it is all, spelled correct and stuff. So you know.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

monday: school, came home and slept

tuesday: school and knowledge bowl felt really tired for some reason

wednesday: school, make up test, church-so heres a funny story. i usually go early to church to set up and get stuff ready so i am there by 5 or at the latest 5:30 and pastor kent is usually there and stuff. i drove up on wednesday and the whole church looked really dark as i drove up and i realized none of the upstairs (our youth room is up stairs) lights were on and i remembered back to after i finished my make up test mrs. bentz said somehting about it being thursday and i said it was wednesday and since everything was off i started worring..."what if it is thursday???" and things like that so i went up stairs and turned everything on and checked kents schedule...it just turns out he was at basketball practice. he is the assistant coach at park. it was sorta wierd but funny in retrospect. church was fun that night

thursday: went to school felt sick decided to stay for some reason who knows. came home fever of like 103 or something like that.

friday: sick was gonna go to the park game but i was sick

saturday: went to master and commander it was pretty good

sunday: student leadership team meeting at 7:30 church met to plan the new years party that we are having with a bunch of area churchs. we had to plan the part from 10:45 untill 12:15 cause that part is at salem. its gonna be great you should all come

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well so here i am again lets try remember everything that has happened since last time

wednesday: school. church- stayed untill after 12 setting up lights for some womens thingy on saturday. they didn't really know what they wanted and i wasn't going to be there so i had to make it as simple as possible for the person who was going o run it cause they don't do it often and they were running sound too... that was fun

thursday: school. knowledge bowl after school yeah i can't remember anything else from that day

monday: school. teen vision practice, they still don't beleive me that i got engaged this summer oh well, justin gave chris a super wedgie and ripped his boxers... that was pretty funny

tuesday: school. knowledge bowl practice. we did questions from 1988 that was funny

wednesday: school. went to church earlier than i usually do (4:30 normally i am no there till 5) and set the lights back up and did some other stuff aswell to setup. we had an outreach night where each lugg group (stands for living under God's guidance, divided up by grade and gender ex. 11th grade boys...etc) did some sort of outreach. we went and bought stuff for two operation christmas child boxes. came back had worship time then i stayed till after 11 to set up for a consultants meeting that they are having.

thursday: school. first official knowledge bowl practice, which means we did nothing. i cought up on all my math and made a video for spainish

friday: school. nothing much after that.

well tahts what has been going on now onto what will: tomorrow i am working a banquet at cooperstown bible camp. only one day of school next week we definatley need to have thing happening... who wants to go to noahs sometime? or paly some risk? or both at the same time? what ever talk to me

well thats all i can say for now i think i m putting a new picture up. if i get around to it. its a picture of an eye i found online but it had lines all over it so i cleaned it up a little it reminds me of someone if you guess who i will give you a prize... who knows it might be you...

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

wow so i just realized i hadn't updated in a while so i am not gonna say what i did every day since last time care i might not even remember all the days.so yeah

this weekend i wanted to punch somebody more than i have ever wanted to before. i was shopping at the mall with some friends of mine that are female and i was walking around with one of them and we walked into some store and were looking at stuff and after a while of looking at the same stuff i look at stuff one rack away from her and as soon as i did this guy (who had seen us walk in together and looking at stuff together) walked up to her and started hitting on her i really wanted to hit him really hard in the face right then and there but i didn't. she was handling it ok on her own but i really wanted him to say something that would warent me hitting him. if i saw him now i think i would still want to hit him... what does this mean... the world is confusing...

so then sunday night i was going to prism at bethel with some friends and me and jon v. we waiting for annie, carly ,becca, and amy and so we were waiting outside and decided to sit down on the side walk. then after a little bit this girl is walking in from the parking lot and walked up to me and started running her fingers through my hair and said " i really like your hair" and i replied with "umm...thanks" and she told me "you should never cut it" i told her how my parents make me cut it twice a year she said she was sorry and went inside. this was sorta of wierd for two reasons... i have no clue who this person was ( it might have been that it was dark out but i don't think i know the person) and two most people who i don't know ask before running fingers through my hair... but oh well i don't mind...

yeah so that was this weekend...

for those of you who i was talking with earlier about this subject yes i did get engaged this summer even if you don't beleive i did.

that's about all i can think to say right now so ta ta

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

yeah so heres is how the week has been going

monday: school, teen vision practice, as we were walking out of the church were we were practicing amy (who just died her hair on saturday) said "i just don't feel like myself" and i said "well, that's cause you look wierd" imediatly after i said it i realized i had out it in the wrong words. luckily amy knew i didn't mean it like it sounded and said "thomas, you're the only person who could say that and not have me freak out at them" so that was good.

tuesday: school stayed up late started english paper at 4ish cause at that time its just pure creative juices flowing no logic to get in the way.

wednesday: school all that includes, church had challenge 200 we only got 154 or something like that so none of our pastors are bleaching their hair so you chould all come next time so they will have to. it was a pretty hectic night for running sound/lights/video/computer so if you were there and i didn't see you i am sorry i didn't and glad you came.

thursday: school-played with brains in psych class. working on a wicked cool animation in drafting. a 747's engine starts on fire and the fire grows and and the wing breaks in half and fles off. thats all i have so far, it is a work in progress came home babysat. that about it

tomorow leave for camp oh yeah...

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

Wednesday: school, finally the last day. had aviation, history and spainish, it just didn't feel like the last day, for some reason, i think i might have been because the seniors weren't here this year. who knows. Big multi church youth group picnic at gooseberry. that was fun played volleyball, ate, worshiped, prayed, that was fun afterwards palyed volleyball with mike and sarah and some other girls that where there, sorry i forgot you're names, i'm not good at names. after that me and mike went o concordia and played each other in tennis, then mike drove me home and such.most interesting time getting out of a parking lot i have had in a long time, thanks mike.

Thursday: woke up at 5 to do my moms paper route cause shes out of town, got done, went to bed, woke up at 3:30 went to visit diana at noahs at like 5:30 till 6:00, have fun at the wedding

Friday: Had to go renew my permit and such cause my wallet was stolen, went the first time and they guy asked what id i had and i was like well my wallet was stolen so i son't have school id, old permit, or social security card so he was like birth certificate will work, so we came home got that, went back the next guy says you need to and i was like this is ll i have wallet was stolen, so he was like you can use a highschool transcript, so we went to school to get that. it looks really cool inside cause the took out all the false ceilings and got that. went back, had to take the eye test again. passed with out my glasses, hehehehe, my vision stinks real bad yet i continue to pass. i had to duck for them to take my picture. got home at 3 and i called DAKOTA AERO TECH to see about taking my pilot test and they were like "the latest you can start is 2:00" and they aronly open weekdays so i can't do it till the end of summer. yeah that stinks.

Saturday: didn't do all that much,

Sunday: church, then went to the lake for some reason, help watch my mom's friends kids.

Monday: wow i can't remember at all...

Tuesday: school. went to bobs house to start filming music video

Wednesday: school. went to church early to film another scene of the video, then we had the end of the year party at the McWethy's farm. man that was fun,

Thursday: school, borrowed jon's camera to put the video on my computer so i caould edit it, went flying. man that was fun, i flew to casselton, tom flew to kindred, then luke flew back to fargo, that was great fun. came home at 10ish and decided to start editing my video, so i did that for a while, at 1:30 i realized that we didn't have a few scenes and that a few we shot jon camerad really bad so they wouldn't work. so i went out and shot those, i had to pretend that the fountain over by the the fargo parks building was a wishing well, and i used the railroad tracks by M&H got home at 2:30, worked more on editing, realized i needed something for the "yeah yeah yeah" parts so i went online and looked for penny pictures and found a great one of a penny collecter holder thingy, it had ten which fit the song, then i photshoped it so it was missing one, for the whole "penny lost" thing so then i finished, 4:30-7:55 (remember i havea 7:30 class) was trying to get it on a video tape, you have to render it on the computer first and it would always stop like 3/4 of the way throught the rendering process. so i thought maybe memory,so i went though my comp and deleated a whole lot of stuff. then it didn't work, so i thought "its in a transition maybe thats it" so i took out that transition and tried but then it stoped in the transition before that...yeah stuuf like that continued for a while, finally i just cut it in half made it 2 file, rendered one, put on tape, rendered the other, put it on tape, but them both on the computer as 2 scenes then i had to go throught and reedit the sound and some of the timing cause that was off now, yeah that tape was a bugger. oh well.

Friday: well the morning you just heard about, went to school, got to gym like 35 minutes late, i am pretty sure mr G didn't like that. in avation calss i found out i passed mr. kinsellas test so now i can go take the test at the airport to become a student piolet. thats gonna be great. showed video in english i think everybody liked it, did you like it???? i accidenttally fell asleep in spainish, sorry mrs moe. yeah we were watching i love lucy and i hadn't slept the night before so i just fell asleep. luckily they were nice enought to wake me up when class finished. thanks. went home and slept.

Saturday: went to help Mr Kinsella move, man his house was nice, his new one is nice too and he hasn't even put in his home movie theatre yet. yeah nice, so i moved from 8 till 5, got lots of money, got home realized i missed grad open houses, stink. went to noahs at 8:20 to visit diana that was fun a bunch of people cane after that. it was lots of fun till closing. yeah those of us who were there know what happened. oh well.

sunday: so far i got up and thought it was a hour later that it was and got ready but then i figured out it wasn't as late as i thought it was. so i came pon here quick. gotta run slides today. then i think i am going to graduation partys and such.

who knows after that "not i said the pig" that book rocks you know the one where the chicken is making bread and noone want to help, then everyone wants to eat some but she doesn't let them cause they didn't help.

yeah so the other day(i don't remember which one) i was gonna enter a poetry contest but my poem was to long so i wrte another one quickly, here it is,

My Other Poem’s To Big For The Box by thomas kvamme

my other poem won't fit in the box

so i'll write a new poem quick as a fox

the quick fox we hear who jumps over the dog

the dog just as lazy as a log

lazy dog gets himself nothing but a nap

quick fox gets himself nothing but tired

get yourself lost then look at the map

do things for which you aren't wired

don't do it because everyone else does

don't do it "just because"

do it because it’s what you do

do it for yourself, do it for you

so this summer i am working at Cooperstown Bible Camp. i have told many of you about it. and heres the deal, we need to raise $375 and if we want to get paid $567. but see  i leave next sunday and i haven't been able to raise any money yet so i really need some, if you or your family would like to help out that would be greatly appreciated, and if you are trying to convince your parents all donations are tax deductible. so this is sorta wierd asking on here and i really don't want you all to feel pressured at all. but if you can help please do. i would also greatly apprecate prayer support over the summer. thanks

P.S. Please make checks payable to Cooperstown Bible Camp.  Make sure to include a note that says it is for my fund; however, please do not put my name on the check.

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage- with great patience and careful instruction.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

ok so heres what it was. i wrote it in microsoft word the copy pasted it in, instead of writing it in the xanga window thingy...that makes it have capitals and correct spelling and punctuation and alll that good stuff... it was tricky thats why it was worth a million points.

saturday: went to camp for work and worship weekend it was great so much stuff is being done to improve camp. wow. rolling counters is really fun,

sunday: church then went to mike's house saw his news bike. its nice. went to sara's volleyball game, saw lots of other people i know including cassie. we were playing frisbee outside and then got bored and wanted to play some volleyball but noone at the tourny had one we could use so we went to scheels and i bought one its bright orange. i like it.

Loose Change -by Andrew Peterson
(from the point of view of a penny)

I'd give you all of me to know what you were thinking
And if I had one wish I'd wish I wasn't sinking here
Drowning in this well
Oh, can't you tell

That I can't pick myself up off the ground
I've been face down and pushed aside
Well, you know I'd rather just turn tail and run
Than lie here in the sun
And watch you pass me by
'Cause I ain't worth a dime

chorus: But if only I could stand up straight
I wouldn't have to lie and wait
I could up and roll away
And never be ignored
I've got a feeling that I'm something more
Than just a piece of copper ore
Turning green and looking for
The reason I was born

I've been around since 1964
In banks and bottom drawers
On railroad ties
I've been passed around and cast aside
Skipped and flipped and flattened wide
Spun around and thrown away and left alone to lie

chorus

But I heard about a penny found
Lying underneath a couch
By a woman who was kneeling down
And looking for some change
Then the woman danced around
And called her friends all over town
And told 'em what was lost is found
It's another penny saved

So I find that all this time
Beneath the surface I could shine
Like all the gold a king and queen could measure
You see, even just a penny is a treasure

Hello hello hello once again I am going to update

Sunday: church was fun. Youth Sunday, and after that the plan was to make a wonderful lunch for my mommy and give her her gifts. But for some reason those plans got changed, we went to McDonalds oh well. We got her a bike because her old one got stolen a while back, I being less financially able than my father got her a lock for her bike, and a great card.

Monday: took the DBQ essay for fisher’s history test. Man I made up so much crap. My brain was both tied in knots and turned to mush all at the same time. It felt weird to be home on a Monday night, it was the first time in a while I didn’t have teen vision practice; I sort of miss it already.

Tuesday: school, took the free response questions for fisher’s test, once again mush tied in knots. Tuesday night I went to the Fargo north choir concert at Ben Franklin. It was wonderful, congrats to Annie, Tony, Katie, Silka, Natalie, Charlie, Andrew, and who ever else I know in it and all of those I don’t. After that Silka and I and Annie and Mary (her sister) went to dairy queen. The ride over was quite interesting but I am not sure if I am allowed to tell the story, got ice cream, ate it in the car, went home. All in all, a wonderful evening.

Wednesday: school now done with history. We are watching movies for the rest of the year. Starting with the patriot, it fun to just watch Maria watching the movie she makes such funny facial expression and the like. I gave my speech in English. I let the class pick between “the Christmas tree light bulb” and “the story of Mister and Misses Hill” they chose the light bulb, I didn’t get anybody crying this time like I have before but I think some where close. Wednesday night was extreme worship at church it was great oh man I love worship, praise God. I am so glad I live in a country where we can freely worship the true lord our God.

Thursday: school again. Not too much after that. I think… did I do anything I can’t remember

Friday: finished watching the patriot in history and started 13 days. Called Lizz, and I am getting a ride up to camp tomorrow which is good, but means I can’t fly tomorrow oh well, its worth it. Camp rocks. And I haven’t been able to be up in a while cause of rides and such. I am watching “remember the titans” on my computer as I write this and feel the urge to break out into oldies song, but I can’t type that fast so I think I am going to have to go. Take care, be safe

Oh yeah something different about this post, first to tell what it is gets a million points.

In God’s Hands,
thomas kvamme

hello all of you. yeah so here comes an update

wednesday: mystery night. was fun we went to the bridge building and had lots of fun stuff i video taped it. we had so much fun the door fell off its hinges (seriously it did) yeah that was fun then me silka tony and logan went to hardees, their shakes are good i had resses peanut butter cup/vanilla. and a little bit of silkas rocky road. yeah that was a fun night.

thursday: school. came home slept and woke up at 7:30 went to worship team practice at 8, practicing for youth sunday, this sunday. that was pretty fun, doing some good songs, i drank two pitchers of water using the pitcher as a big mug and all the girls we like "why are you so weird?" yeah singing is me, six girls, and andy. so is sorta gotta carry the low parts. oh well its fun. yeah came home and went to bed.

friday: school, took the history test one of the questions was funny (well at least to me). it was "the reason for japanese-american internment during and after WWI was...” and the choices went something like this: A) even though the agreed with american gov. they were all spies (thats not right) B) they all refused to sign loyalty oaths (nope not that one either) C) even though none of them were spies they all supported the japanese gov (i think at least one was a spy) D) they were japanese. there we go thats it. i found that really funny because of both the obvious falsity of the other answers and the simplicity of the right one. i broke out laughing in the middle of the test. yeah funny. came home didn't do that much on friday night.

saturday: woke up at 9 next thing i knew i looked at the clock and it was 12... i think i fell back asleep. got ready for the day. sat around doing nothing robinson caruso was on tv so I watched some of that. went to noahs to visit diana. mustafa was there to. mu and i pretended to work there till 6 when angie came to work and diana was done so yeah. came home had pisgetti (spaghetti) for supper. it was yummy. who know what i am going to do tonight. well have to see.

lyrics/song of the day: “songs 4 tricia (princes and frogs)” by the guys of superchic[k]

You hate men that's what you say
And I understand how you feel that way
All girls dream of a fairy tale
But what you've got's like a used cars sales man
Trying to conceal what’s wrong
Behind the smile and the song
And I'm not saying that boys are not like that

(what you talking bout baby)

But I think you should know
That some of us will grow

Cause, all princes start as frogs
All gentlemen as dogs
Just wait till its plain to see
What we're going up to be
Cause some frogs will still be frogs
And some dogs will still be dogs
Some boys will become men
Just don't kiss us till then

saturday: was raking leaves and cleaning the yard and the like and i got a call from matt charging (from Beulah nd) who was in town to go to prom with annie. she and carly were getting their hair done at 2 untill 4 so he came over and help me rake leaves rather than sit and watch them do their hair...so that was fun we caught up on stuff.

sunday: it was my week to do power point at church but see i didn't know. the first service starts at 8:30 and so my mom woke me up at 8:15 and said they called and i had to be there quick so i got up really quick and went i got up it the computer as pastor george was starting the announcements. yeah that was close. then i went to sunday school and did slides second service. came home did nothing for a while. went to bible study at kent’s it was kent me sarah smithson and kari. we did the book of questions and that was pretty fun. yeah peg had kent and kari's kids so she came back and offered to give me a ride home when it was done i said ok. i learned they were going to throw out their couch and i said i would take it if my parents would let me. then they got a call that kents dad fell so him and peg went over to help. that took a little bit but i was fine with it they needed to go. then i got a ride home. got the ok to get a couch and called kent to tell him.

wednesday: just school so far. mystery night tonight at church

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

so here is my update.

Saturday: wanted to go to camp but couldn't get a ride, was gonna do something with silka but then she had to pick up her brother or something so we couldn't. i started to actually be sick

Sunday: two teen vision concerts at calvary united methodist church.they were great. after the second one we were greeting people as they left shaking hads and such and so justin was before me (to my left) and tony after me (on my right) so a girl was coming througha and hugged justin and i was like "oh somebody knows justin" then she hugged all of us" i asked justin if he knew her and he didn't, that was unexpected but oh well. we went to mcdonalds in between and then a&w after then me and silka and michelle followed carly home and took stuff from her car. brought michelle home, sang some songs, i got home, about 2 ish. went to bed was woken up by parents at 6 to eat, didn't eat felt sick. yeah that was all of sunday, went to sleep at 9.

Monday: went to school, had to give my inform speech in english, it had to be 4 minutes and i didn't really watch marion doing the timing so i didn't know how long i had talked so i was sorta making stuff up and then i was just like "stink what ever who cares if it is under 4" so i finished and it was 5:56 so that made me happy. went to teen vision "practice" we really just went to pizza hut. played frisbee and the like. came home had interesting talks on the ride back. went to sleep at 9:43.

Tuesday: gym i got three interceptions two of which i ran the whole way to get a touch down. that was fun. took the stupid reading test. boring boring boring i was the first one done in the cafeteria and had over an hour to sit there. play a few people in paper rock scissors and i played scissors the whole time like always. drummed out some funky beats on the table. yeah i was bored. math time. elise was playing her cello so i gave her my chair being that it is the only one not attatched to a desk so i sat on the top of my desk. i almost got to sit on top the whole time but nope mister duncan made me get down. oh well.  yeah thats about it sofar today. take care

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

piercing my soul by thomas kvamme

your eyes pierce deep into my soul
some how you take control
moving in and out of my mind
controlling all the thoughts you find
your eyes, the gate way to your heart
radiating beauty from every part
nothing in my mind but you
your eyes make the wonderful view
why is there no peace when you are gone
your light brighter than that of the dawn

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

well hello again,

i wrote this before but it didn't work so we'll see.

Tuesday: got all my stuff done, got to school printed my spainish before school and waited till lunch to do english, got to lunch and had to go to holiday to get a video for english cause that was part of my plan so i went and i went to the aisle the used to be in and they weren't there so i looked again, nope not there, i looked in all the other aisle and finally found tapes, cassette tapes, video camera tapes, duct tape, but they were all out of vhs tapes. so i had to run to walmart, got a tape got to the check out line, the lady infront of me was buying clothes for her daughter, who looked about 4, she kept being slow and talking to the cashier, then it was time to pay 32.96 and she pays with ones. she had 25 already counted out and papercliped but nope she counted those anyway...grrrr...finally got through paid my 97cents for my video, went back to school, little bit of running involved. got there with about a minute to class went to fishers room and was worn out. english came, turned out didn't need video or outline till the next day. arghh.

Wednesday: school and the like, then time for church, we played the bigger and better game for those of you who don't know you start with something small, for us it was one of our youth group pens, and try to trade for something bigger and better. the first house my group got a dead fridge wit no doors, we figured not many people would want to trade for such an item but we continued on our quest. we went to a house and tramatized the kid whose parents weren't there. went to the next house, eplained the game to the guy and asked if he had anything he would like to trade the first words out of his mouth were "well, geez... my wife isn't home" then he says "if you would have come a week ago i had this old car i gave away" man a car would rock. so then we saw they parents come home at the newly tramatized kids house, we went to explain, they ended up giving us a box of thick fudge brownies with chocolate frosting, and we even got to keep the dead fridge. we went back to church to see what else people got, i brought home: the brownies, a briefcase, a skateboard, and a cool toy police helmet with microphone. its great

Thursday: erin koppang's birthday, happy birthday, i forgot her gift at home when i had to run to the bus so i felt bad all day.

Friday: rememered erins gift. felt better. sorta feeling really sick and stuff stinko well thats all so far, i might get to go to camp tomorrow but probably not, then i have to concerts to do sunday morning. well i am gonna go try get better

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

yeah so i am really bad at updating regularly but hey, no ones perfect. so here are the ongoings in my life

thursday: went to school and stuff, i did something on thursday night but i can't remember what.

friday: no school its great. so i finally have a day off and my mom makes me clean the family room, for those of you who haven't been to my house we have a living room upstairs and a family room in the basement along with a bathroom, laundry room, 3 bedrooms, and an apartment (1bedroom, 1bath, kitchen/dining room) so since i am the only kid left home and there fore have the basement to myself the family room has basically become an extension of my room, with my computer in it and me commonly sleeping on the couch. so i had to clean that up. then my dad came down to check make sure it was clean and made a huge deal cause my room wasn't clean. i tried to explain to him i only had to do the family room and so after a while he’s like "lets ask your mother" and she says "well i didn't say that before but you have to now" so i had to do that and i am told i can get a desk if i clean my room(my old one broke which is why my computer is on a door which is resting on a table) so i cleaned my room cause i have to clean it before i leave for the summer anyway. so then i am done with that at about 3:30 or 4 and i am like "dad wanna go get a desk?" and he says "in a little bit" so i go play computer for a while come up at 5:30ish and he is making supper and says "i saw a deal for a desk at office max" so i figured we'd go after supper since he is cooking it now. so i ask him after i do the dishes and he says "i wanted to go this afternoon" so then it took an hour to convince him and then he made me call make sure they were still open...at 7... so we went and i saw one i liked then he pointed out all the other ones and i said "i like this one and it is cheaper than the ones you pointed out too." so i finally convinced him to get it so we go up to the counter and give them the slip things and wait for a little bit and he gets tired of waiting so we leave. as we get into the car i see that they are bringing it up to the counter now so i tell him, his response "well we might get it tomorrow" so we go home and i finish the night watching tv and such.

saturday: wake up at about 11 have to do the dishes again and wash the counter and clean the floor, do that then bum around tiil my dad gets home and i say "lets go get a desk" and he says "maybe later" i don't let him do that again so we go now. first we go to best buy and i point out to him that they have a horrible selection of desks they cost lots more and we already saw one i liked the night before at office max so he says " well lets check the fargo office max" so we go there they have they desk i want and but he still finds the need to point out all the other desks they have. finally we get my desk and go home and start making it. got bored went and watched a movie. stayed up till 3:30 and then listened to at least a half an hour of "adventures in odyssey" so I was up till at least 3:45

Sunday: had to be at church at 6:30 so i set my real alarm for 5:24 and my travel alarm for 5:31 so first my real alarm goes off i hit sleep, then my travel alarm goes off and i turn it off and since it was so annoying i throw it across the room. then my real alarm goes off again cause it was on sleep this time i turn it off all the way, my mom comes down and wakes me up at 6:10 i am actually functioning at 6:17 so i go take a shower and get to church at 6:40, i was late but i was still there before other people, set up for the sunrise service breakfast, served the sunrise service, did powerpoint for 1st service, set up stuff in youth room and started music incase anyone came (there was no official sunday school) went down served continental breakfast and then went and watched veggie tales Jonah on the big screen in the sanctuary. did powerpoint for the second service came home had food slept, woke up watched tv, went to bed at about 1

Monday: did not to much for the whole day had teen vision practice at 5 so of course my mom tells me that i have to wash the floor and she tells me at 4:50. teen vision practice was good, good to see people again fun stuff. got home and said i need to do my sppech for english and spainish gradstandard which is huge so i started doing those at 3:30 i am writing this to take a break from them i haven't hought of a speech topic yet. oh well.

yeah so thats my week. and someone asked me a question and i have no clue so i am asking you, if someone normally ends their e-mails just by writing their name(we'll use the name katie as an example)

blahblahblah
katie

and then start ending them like this

blahblahsmegblah

love,
katie

Does that mean anything or are they reading too much into this? That the question i don't know

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

so yeah i didn't post Saturday like i said but i am now so get off my back.

Wednesday: saw the superchic[k] concert it was great they sound really good acoustic. they also had some other groups playing fusebox and a few others so then after that was done i hung out for a little bit and then ran over and saw grits last song the went to the "nashville castle" and hung out with superchic[k] and watched PAX217 and hung out there for a while and stuff got a ride back to the hotel from matt in the kickin' van sorta reminded me of my old van but thats another story. got in at about 1. it was good i am going to have to e-mail him.

Thursday: drove home got to rockford

Friday: got the rest of the way home

Saturday: i was at church from 9am till a little after 11pm. it was dinner theatre so i was setting up everything then at 5:30 i was a sever then i played some piano then i video taped then i sold some shirts then we took down and set up for Sunday and did dishes then it was finally time to go home at about 11 something so Ryan was bringing me home and we brought Sarah home first and then got me home about 11:30ish and i realized i forgot the route list for my parents paper route i was supposed to give them at church and we had to go back and get that so i got home about 12

Sunday: my parents woke me up at 10:45 and said "we thought we'd let you sleep in" but really i think they just forgot to wake me up for Sunday school, so i got to church at 22 for he service and then got to work again take down Sunday stuff set up for dinner theatre re aim all the lights other stuff then i was a server/piano player/videographer/shirt seller/dish washer/gopher all over again then we took down and set back up and stuff let about 7:30

Monday: went back to school not to much special

Tuesday: see Monday

Wednesday: see Tuesday but church tonight was pretty fun a big old share and prayer time it was great. we should do that more often well i think that’s all i have to say right now so take care

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

i am now home i will update more probably tomorrow. who knows for sure i am gonna be at church most of the day.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

once again i am coming to you live (well maybe not live) from the nashville library. yesterday was pretty fun. lets see what happened. hung around in the lobby somemore meeting all kinds of people. then was going to get supper at about 6:10 so i went to the subway i saw before. closed at 5, looked down the street saw a quiznos, closed at 6, looked down the street and saw another subway closed at six so i gave up and didn't eat supper. went to the hotel room for a while then went to a concert i heard was good.it stunk bad, not like "oh they have talent but i don't like their style" kind of stink but the "they can't even play a chord or sing or hit the drums on the beat" kind of stink. so i came back to the hotel and went to the late night show case featuring strange celebrity, dakona, robert randolf and the family band, and downhere the whole thing was hosted by souljahz. first souljahz did a song which was great then strange celebrity did a few songs and i had to go eat i was so hungry i hadn't eaten anything really since my ceral for breakfast. so i went up to the room and convinced my parents to take me to somewhere that didn't close at 5 or 6 (cause it was a little after 10) and the jonathon said he would drive so we went to mickey dee's and got some food then he just drove around for a while and i was like "hey i wanna go back to the concert" and he didn't care so when we finally got back i had missed everybody but downhere, they were pretty good. then i went and played some ps2 till about 1 and went to bed. so tonight i don't know what to do one showcase is reliant k and grits and sandtown hosted by tobymac and another is superchic[k] doing their first ever acoustic set ever in history. and there are someother ones too that i want to see... grrr why are thy putting all the good people playing at the same time in two different places???? why i ask you...why...grrrr. i'll ask matt (from superchic[k]) and see if he knows why.well time to go eat.

take care

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

yeah so this week is still going awesome. lets see where did i leave off yesterday??? oh yeah ok yeah so after i got done here i went back to the hotel (its right across the street there is a skyway) and hung out in the lobby for a while the radiou place had a ps2  i played for a bit. my hotel is so cool there are so many people staying there within about 3 miinutes of each other i saw stacie orrico, all star united and stink i am haveiung a brian fart and forgot who else it was but they are cool. so then last night at 7:30 was the essential records concert at the ryman featuring the paul colman trio, bebo norman, ffh, third day, andrew peterson and more. the it was the late night concert which had sanctus real, the elms and switch foot, and i saw Adrienne Liesching from benjamin gate there and not onstage right next to me in the crowd, litteraly right next to me that was cool. after wards i hung out with matt from superchic[k] i had seen him earlier that day so i knew he remembered me from liners so i went up behind him, (he was talking in a circle with him, tricia, melissa and three other people i don't know,) ansd started ging him a back massage. something i started doing to people at camp cause seth did it and it felt really good after a hard day. so he turned around and said (and i quote...hence the quote marks) "why does that feel so good" yeah so we talked for a bit and he was like we need to go practice and i don't want to practice when i want to go to bed, *he looks at his phone to check the time it is 11:51* so i tell him "just practice in the morning and go to bed now" and he replies "well i have to do that to" yeah so life in superchick is not all fun sometimes you have to practice. man this place is so cool. had breakfast today in the hotel resturant it was so scrumptious. then i came over here to update you all. take care

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

wow so this is awesome for those of you who don't know i am at GMA(gospel music association) conference right now in nashville tn, and it is so cool. we drove so we left on thursday morning and stayed in rockford IL on thursday night and got here friday about 6ish. it so cool here you get lots of free stuff from all the record companys and artists trying to get free promotion and stuff, so just yesterday morning i got about 15-20 cds and 2 shirts and a bunch of other stuff buty let me start at the begining of the day there was a chapel thing. guess who was leading worship... steven curtis chapmen... then the president of campus crusade for christ was the speaker guy. so then it was time for free stuff. we went and most of the artists we standing by there booth and so i was talking with a guy for like 10 minutes and then somebody comes up and asked for an autograph (i assumed they meant from him and not from me) so he took their poster and signed it CHRIS TOMLIN and then i thought to my self "wow i have been standing here talking with chris tomlin for 10 minutes wow" so that was cool then after that was the recording session where all the radio people go to all the artists and get liners. so i was doing that and here are just some of the people i talked too. tobymac, stacie orico, phil joel, shaun groves, chris rice, Adrienne Liesching from benjamin gate, sonic flood, superchic[k] they were probably one of the funnest to get liners from they kept adlibing and stuff it was great fun then tricia gave me some of her fries (thanks again) man that was great fun. then curb records was sponsering a sunday sundae thing so i went and got free sundaes. then focus on the family had a supper that was yummy. then it was time for sunday night worship at the ryman auditorium (the ex-grand ole opry) lead by non other than michael w. smith. with a choir of 30-40 huge christian artists. man that was great and well great. then it was the song writers thingy with all the best songs of the year performed by their writers and the story behind them. that included but was not limited to: tobymac, mercyme, lenny leblanc, skillet, nicole nordman, a bunch more but i can't remember all their names. wow that was fun. yeah so that was the first day. i can't wait till the rest of the week. its awesome down here. oh yeah i forgot to mention that right now i am writing from the nashville public library which is really cool and beautiful and huge its 3 floors and each floor is probably the size of fargo and moorhead librarys put together.  yeah well i think i am gonna be done with this entry for now i will post more later.

oh yeah i am writing another song anf almost finished with the one i started at districts.

In God's Hands,
thomas kvamme

So here’s what’s been going on with me lately

Sunday: teen vision concert on Sunday night, tony was in Chicago and Justin was too sick to sing o I was the only guy singer on Sunday night. Then around the 3rd song I started felling sick too and it got progressively worse as the night went on, so I don’t think my singing was that good but they turned it up anyway cause I was the only guy. Then after the concert they invited us for dessert, you know brownies and stuff. I was so weak by that point I couldn’t even sit up so I laid down on the floor, well actually I just sorta leaned over a bit and let gravity do the rest, less work that way, and started to sleep as soon as I hit the floor. Then they woke me up and said, “we have to pack up”  so I went into the sanctuary and started packing up everything I was supposed to and no one else had started yet. So I finished with all my stuff and a few people had started working by this time so since I was done with my stuff and incredibly sick/week feeling I went and laid down on a pew and slept some more. Then they came and woke me up again and said I needed to pack up and I said “I already did all my stuff” and they said “you can do the stuff for the people who are gone”. So I did that and went back to laying down and feeling horrible. Then after a while they said “we need to load the bus, I asked barb if I could not have to help load the bus cause yeah I was sick, she said that I didn’t have to so I went back to sleep. Then they woke me up telling me it was time to go then Barbie said that it isn’t cause leon still had her car. So I went back to sleep on the floor right by the door. I think about this time is when people besides barb are noticing that I am sick. I slept most of the ride home and then right after I got home.

Monday: I was sick so I didn’t go to school. Stayed home found out there is still nothing good on tv.

Tuesday: so there was a POOR BAKERS DOZEN concert in Winona, MN at Winona State University so I convinced ryan to give me a ride to that. So we were going to meet lizz there at 6 (cause she gets out of class at 5:50) and it is a six hour drive but we were going to go around the cities so we were planning on leaving at 10. then mike p. called me at 7:23 because he thought I had school and I would be up but I didn’t so I wasn’t but my mom woke me up. So he asked if he could get a ride up with us and I of course said sure. So he said he would try be there by 10 but the he called at about 9:50 and said that he couldn’t get here till 10:20 so me and ryan did cross words. Then he came and we left on our 6 hour drive at about 11. And that was a great fun. I’ll have to tell you about it but its one of those things that writing it doesn’t make it sound as cool. So we got there at 5 because we went through the cities after all and mike went up to lizz RA and was like “hey niki…blah blah blah… can we get a key.” And niki was all like “sure mike” and mike knows everyone there now so on the way up to lizz’s room he said hi to a number of people. So we got there and just sorta sat in lizz’s room for an hour. People came in every once in a while and said hi to mike and wondered who ryan and I were then I came close to 6 so we went and to the campus food place and ate. It was pretty good food but the wait was a little long. So we ate and then went to the IV prayer meeting before the concert and prayed for the concert, the people, and china for the operation world book. The PBD concert was great. A few new songs even. So after the concert Kolena came over and was sorta in disbelief that we were there. So then we talked with her for a little bit and stuff then went and talked with jeff from PBD and tried to convince them to have another concert at cooperstown bible camp and they said they probably would so I have to e-mail jeff or bonnie Kossow about that. Then we went back to lizz room and hung out for a while, then for the night she stayed in her friends room and we stayed in hers. We started going to sleep about midnight.

Wednesday: so I woke up a few times before I woke up for real the things I thought were a little funny ask me cause once again need to be said not typed. So then we woke up and lizz came in and talked for a little while then she left and went to class so we hung out there a little more. Then me and Ryan had to leave to get back for “mystery night” at church.  Ryan took a few “extra turns” on the way back. And we went through a few time warps first we were going to be 40 minutes early then we were going to be 15 minutes late then again we were going to be 40 minutes early. And our math was right every time. Oh well. Then there was the Cadillac ask me about that it’s a great story. then we got to mystery night. And we had to “find the lost people” in the mall it was pretty fun. Then after some people came to my house and we hung out for a while. Now it is

Thursday: I didn’t do much today except go to Noah’s and review all my verses. That’s about it

A Piece of Broken Heart     by thomas kvamme

if you think your world is too perfect,
you can have a piece of mine
if you think you have too much respect,
you can have a piece of mine

if you don’t like your life of peace,
you can have a piece of mine
if your loving moments ever cease,
you can have a piece of mine

if you’re the one who always finds the way,
you can have a piece of mine
if you're the one with only great things to say,
you can have a piece of mine
a piece of my broken heart

An Angel Just For Me     by thomas kvamme

he made an angel just for me

the one for me who is just right

the one perfect in every degree

she’s who I dream about every night

we will always be together

if not for real then in our hearts

in fair or foul weather

nothing will us part

who she is I don’t yet know

someday I will find her and I will see

this is the one with whom I’ll grow

grow old together her and me

Voices in the Halls  by thomas kvamme

so many times, i've walked these halls
all throughout these years
the voices in them, every and all
have gone into my ears

many of them i am glad to hear
some i would rather not
i see the faces new this year
and the ones that time forgot

i see and hear them all the time
out of them not two the same
i see and hear them all the time
many of them without a name

to those of you without a name
i am sorry i do not know it
you could be a scholar, a player of the game
or the one who loves, but is too afraid to show it

to all the ones i don't know
i wish we had the chance
to talk and laugh or cry and grow
to sit or stand or dance

to all of you who know me
i am glad that we have shared
this path before us, no end to see
on which we have been paired

My Poem To Erin     by thomas kvamme

i see her there
sitting on the third stair
sitting with her thoughts alone
little by little writing her poem
i do not know what she's writing
whether it is tranquil or exciting
writing her hopes or her fears whatever it might be
the poem can be no more beautiful than she

so last night was THE RIVER over at NDSU it was great and i was there for a long time first we left home at 5 and got the station jeep and got to nsdu at 6 then we set up for an hour for kfnw's "pre game show" then the river started, i knew mike and lizz and nate gonzer were going to be there but there were so many other camp people too i know i can't remember them all cause i am really tired and there were a lot so i am just not going to try. but it was so great and there we lots of people that accepted Christ last night it was so cool the girl in front of me did, i have no clue who she was but it is still just so cool. if you are the girl who was sitting in front of me or are anyone else from last night or even anyone who recently accepted Christ welcome to the family. it was so cool this short little entry doesn't describe it well at all so but it was cool a bunch of you should come to the next one. i think it is in April cause there isn't one next week. i'll find out for sure and tell you later.

So i can't find my sketch book, i think my parents hid it.
