I have decided to become more like Ryan Kahly a.k.a. shaggyyak and rate movies I have seen in the theatre recently. Then if you have seen them, you can give your comments too. I will start with a great many movies this first time then I will rate more as I see them.

Last Saturday I saw The Bourne Supremacy. Wow, that was a pretty great movie. Nice action. Different from the first one enough to be good and still enough the same to hold the two together. To quote my friend Kevin "this movie proves that Julia Stiles can act" and I fully agree. I mean come on guys when she is scared that has to be some of the best acting I have seen in a while and scared is a tough one to do. one thing I have to say about this movie though... if you have seen it you will know what I mean... isn't it nice how that file cabinet fit right under the door handle I would give this movie at least 4 and a half out of 5 stars

Monday I saw King Arthur. It was all right. A very original spin on the whole king Arthur story. Supposedly the "true story of King Arthur" I don't know if it is any truer than the other stories we have heard or not but it makes a good movie. It was a little tough to learn which of the knights were which of the knights. I still don't know some of the names (well I know the names just not which person had which name) but I tell you that archer knight shooting the traitor. I want to say more about the shot but I also don't want to give it away incase there are some of you who haven't seen this movie yet. This movie is playing in the dollar fifty theatre, it is definitely worth a dollar fifty to see this movie. I might not have been worth 7 dollars plus snacks but how can you pass up the movie for $1.50? I’ll say it gets 3 and a half stars out of 5.

Today I saw the movie The Manchurian Candidate. This movie was a remake of the 1962 movie of the same title starring Frank Sinatra and Angela Lansbury. This movie was very good. I went into this movie having seen and liked the first one so I had a few disappointments. Two of my favorite parts were not in the new movie, and one of the very key things was missing but I can't say what that was without giving away a great deal so I will keep my mouth shut. But putting those few things behind me this movie was very good. It is definitely a thinker movie or a "huh what is going on...oh now I get it" movie. The filmography style keeps the viewer wondering what is real and what is not. I recommend this movie to those of you who like to be kept on your toes. I’ll give it 4 stars

To explain a little bit about my rating system. Yeah stars=good like normal but you have to understand my thinking. A perfect five will be very hard to get. I don't know if it will ever happen. You probably will not see very many 1's or 2's either, if I am going to go to a movie then I am usually sure that it is at least ok. So yeah maybe some two's who knows.
