wow this last week has been lots of fun. kind of sad that i won't see
most of these people for 3 months and that some of them are graduating
and/or living off campus next year so there will be less of them around
her next year. but hey, that's why we are enjoying it now.

let's two weeks ago i guess... one acts were in the patsy miller studio
theatre. that used to be known just as the back box theatre but then
they named it this for some reason now its initials are the PMS
theatre... kind of funny when you think the first play in it was steel
magnolias.
anyway the one acts were good, good job everyone in them. the first
night it was really hot because the ac broke. man was it hot.

last tuesday i think it was... yep tuesday... i met someone new. its
exciting to think that i met someone new in the last week of normal
classes. i am glad i met her.

last tuesday i also had my interview to be a redshirt (night time dorm
security... i sit at desk from 3-6 and got on rounds twice... not to
hard) the interview included questions like:
have you seen diehard? yes
do you know who acted in diehard? bruce willis
who should have acted in diehard? (this one i was struggling if they
wanted me to say kieffer or churck norris until i saw a chuck norris
poster on the wall) chuck norris

if you could be any kind of rollercoaster what kind would you be?

what would you do if i threw this jar of salsa at you?

it was a pretty fun interview. kind of wierd. three guys asking me
questions with random silly ones interjected into the real ones.

i got the job.

wednesday was pretty boring except for one part. alex edwards came back
(he was here first semester) and we saw each other outside the dorms so
we ran and hugged but he jumped on me and wrapped his legs around when
we hugged. this was right outside the girls dorms so after the embrace
was over i said "man if i was in there (pointing to dorms) i would be
so confused right now" and then i head a voice from inside "i am
confused" it was really funny.

thursday night i "job shadowed" nate who is currently a redshirt. it
wasn't really job shadowing it was just hanging out. first since we
don't work till 3 (some weekend shifts are 12-3 but only 3-6 shifts on
weekdays) we first were going to hang out with haley but she wanted to
finish a movie she was watching so she did and then fell aslepp so we
didn't do anything with her. but nate and i went to the grocery store
and got snacks then sat on the castle. just sitting and talking telling
lots of stories. it was lots of fun.

we came back and went on rounds a little before 3 so that we could see
the beginging of conan. i couldn't go in the girls side cause i am not
really a redshirt yet so i just went outside for that part. first
rounds was uneventful. we came and watched conan but it was no good so
we just played chess, scrabble, fifteen, and we invented a new
something. you take a snack (preferably a wheat thin or a small cookie)
and put it in your cell phone. then when you answer you get a treat.
you answer your phone and say "helloh delecious" (a combination of
hello and oh delicious) it almost makes me want to use the phone....

second rounds i was waiting outside the girls side for nate and i look
over and see the rock on fire. i look to trhe stair well for nate and
just kind of point over to the rock with a look on my face that says
"you should come do something cause i don't know what" its was really
sweet 15 feet flames. some people ran away when we started coming.
called security and told them it was on fire. took them 10 minutes to
get there.

friday was no classes so we had a good game of frisbee. we went and saw
16 blocks and then the moyer guys were going to have our cinco de ocho
party at ten. we saved all the gift certificates we won all year and
pooled them together for free stuff. but all the places wewere going to
get stuff from we closed at 10. stink.

saturday was ultimate frissbee tournament. our team got second. pretty
good considering that at least half of them ran 8 miles and came
staight from that to playing frisbee. and that jerry and i were the
only ones who normally  play. we lost by one point and we were in
the semifinal right befor the championship so we were playing two games
in a row we were kind of tired. if we had a break i bet we could have
one. oh well. we still did good.

yesterday was church and the i came back and took a nap. played
settlers. and had the cinco de ocho party. later that night had the
midnight breakfast. man is taht lots of free food. so good. i was
standing in line with haley (i kindof budged. she started talking to me
when i was going to the back of the line so i talked for a while and
then jsut stayed there.) but in line i had colors and she had paper so
she started writing things about nate (it startediwht nate has hairy
legs) and i would color them. nate was  few peole back so when we
were done we would hold it up so he could see. one was "nate is wearing
a green shirt" nate saw it before we were done so he and brain slipped
into the bathroom and changed shirts without us noticing. haley lifted
up the picture to show him and he had a red and black shirt on. it was
really funny.

thats all. today i have no finals so i slept in and have done nothing
yet. one final tomorrow two wednesday heading home thursday or friday.
