brothers and sisters is a new show starting on abc... i have no idea
what it will be about but it has superchick playing the song on the
commercial... i think it is the theme song for the show... thats sweet
the show called the nine looks kinda sweet maybe
well so here is the news from camp...
first this week... then backing up and then going forward again.
this last week was sr hi. it was a really good week. lots of good
things learned by staff and campers alike. it was probably the most fun
i had counseling any week this summer. got to see people who i haven't
seen since last year.
we got cabin of the week. congratulations lebanon and caesarea. i know some of both of you read this so.
i got in the back of the tabernacle again and started running computer.
the first part of the summer i was not involved and jesse wsa doing it.
its nice to be back in the back.
now to the week before... i had 10 crazy campers in my cabin who all
knew each other and didn't know how to stop talking. they didn't know
how to listen either so i had to be strict. then one wrote a letter
home and said he wasn't having fun so his mom called camp and all the
kids talked and all the parents talked and some how they now think that
i am super mean and that i am the worst counselor ever. three of the
parents said that i should be fired and never work with kids again.
jody says he doesn't think there any reason for me to be fired because
every other camper i have had in 6 years like me but we have to think
about these parents... blah blah blah so i am working at the adventure
program for the last two weeks of the summer. fine by me. i get more
sleep and have more time off... its kind of dumb how it turned out but
anyway
so anyway now the next two weeks i am at the adventure program. i would
appreciate some letters before the summer is over. only two weeks left
for me to get them at camp.
well thats all i am going to write for now.

Question: what did i change my major to?
In God's Hands,

well camp has been going well... three weeks with campers down. this
last week was early bird. in my first 5 years of working at camp i have
never had a bed wetter or a puker and then monday night i had tow kids
wet the bed and one kid throw up... but he made it to the garbage can
so that wasn't too bad. then tuesday night i had someone wake me up at
10 (bedtime was 9:15) to go to the bathroom. a kid was crying afriad of
the dark at 12. kid with a bad nightmare at 2. and a kid throw up in
his bunk at 3:45. so i got to clean that up by flashlight. got back to
bed at 4:15. another kid woke me up at 6 and then i just stayed up
because i normally get up at 6:30 anyway. didn't get much sleep that
night.... wednesday night was the best only got woken up twice. they
went home on thursday
i took the weekend off. its family camp right now but i am in the
wonderful place called northwestern college right now. hanging out with
some wonderful people. i was going to go home thursday and then drive
here yesterday. so thursday i was like "i'll just leave when the fun
stops" cause i had nothing to do at home so why not hang out at camp
more. i called my parents a little before 5 saying "just ahve to pack a
few things and grab a bite to eat and then i'll be leaving. i ended up
not leaving untill 9:30 or so.... so i called them before i really
left. it was fun just sitting around talking and stuff.
anyway got here last night. and there is some group fundamentalist
christian association or something like that having a high school
retreat thing here this week staying in the dorms. so we went out with
water balloon launchers. it was pretty funny. one couple was sitting on
the lawn having what looke dlike a pretty serious DTR and so we went
around a corner and launched some balloons at the over be building.
eventually the kid came over and was like " are you guys having fun?"
us: "yeah"
kid: " you really get a kick out of this"
us: "uh huh"
kid: "well i don't care if you are having fun, why don't you just take your fun out into the woods"
me: "because there is nobody to shot at in the woods... duh"
kid: "shot at some squirrels or something"
ben: "its night you can't see squirrels when its dark out"
the kid said somemore stuff that i didn't really listen to... it was
really funny cause he was like a junior at the most and he was trying
to be all serious and tough and we were just laughing and laughing.
good times
