well i haven't updated in just over 3 weeks i think. i was going to update a while ago. but i never really did...
everytime i work i think "oh i am going to update while i work cause i
have three hours of time where all i have to do is sit" (and do rounds
twice.. meh) then somehow i waste all my time playing
addictinggames.com or something like that. well normally i guess i am
not on the computer that much when haley is here. talk to her most of
the time. the krysta comes in and i use the computer more. nothing
against her but she does more work while she is here. but each time we
work together we learn something from one another. i usually teach her
some random thing that comes up some how (once i taught her about
curling) and she teaches me something she is student teaching. (i know
so much about worms) they are the two i normally work with. for my
thursday night shifts. weekends its lots of different people. well not
really. usually its haley still and anna but then the first weekend of
every month is pretty random.
tonight i worked with angie and now joby is here. going good so far

well lets see what has gone on this month.

well this was last month but ...

champions-
the postal
service are now the northwestern college intermural flagfootball
champions. we smoked everyone. ok so really the first game we one for
real was the semi championship game. all our other wins up to that
point were officially forfeits but we'll take it. we beat the teams
that forfeit to us anyway (they forfeit for not having a girl or enough
players or something so we would just play for fun) but can you say
"superbowl champion" cause i sure can

trick-or-treating-
went for the second time ever. for a
halloween party i was the scary guy a cape telling scary stories at the
fire. the next party i was an army man in my bdus and with my airsoft
m16. for real trick-or-treating i started as the city of jericho. i was
a cardboard box and we acted out the israelites going around seven
times and then i fell over... the houses we didn't do the skit just
thought i was a chump in a box. when over half the israelites left i
trade one of them the box for their sheet so i was an israelite instead
of jericho since we couldn't so the skit anymore. so i was 4 costumes
for halloween this year, man i am such a pagan

ok now this is this month...

remember, remember the fifth of november

gunpowder treason and plot

i see no reason this gunpowder treason

should ever be forgot- a long
while (like 2 months or more maybe) ago my best group of friends here
("los quatros amigos" they call us (yes we know it should be quatro not
quartos but i sound so much better)) watch the movie v for vendetta and
three of us really liked it and the other (my ra) didn't. then
something came to my mind a few days after our watching of the movie i
thought "our hall has a british theme (cityscape on one side with big
pictures of big ben, castle, eye of london,  other side has two
union jacks and two beefeaters) we should v for vendetta the hall."
then the next day i thought" we should wait till the fifth of
november" so we kept our plans secret for a few months then i
designed all the artwork for the "new decorations" spraypainted them on
clear contact paper. at about 11:50pm on the fourth we went to work. we
put a silhouette of v and the "v circle" over the union jacks a stencil
of the future guards over the beefeaters and little explosions all over
the cityscape. all with jerry (my ra) in his room unaware. then at
midnight of the fifth we played the 1812 overture really loud in the
hall and the three of us stood at the end of the hall with our v masks
on and "conducted the orchestra" it was a great prank.

sing all day, but get to see monks-
there was a mens chorus/womens chorale festival thing at st johns. so
groups that don't have both men and women. just one or the other. there
were little concerts all day with like three groups singing in each and
then was one big concert at the end that started with like 450 guys
singing and then 450 girls singing and then 900 of all of us singing
one last song. it was amazing. the concert were all fun. the rehearsing
all day long was not as fun. there was a different director for every
song. i didn;t like any of them as much as i like mr sawyer (our
director) (did you know he has a grammy) but overall the day was fun.
they had strawberry softserve at dinner and st johns has a monastery so
we saw some monks. like real monks in the robes a stuff. i saw two. it
was exciting. and the abbey was pretty sweet two. like a 7 second
reverb in there. and the architecture was great too.

sing and then eat- last friday
had another concert for mens chorus, we were followed by the womens
chorale and then the orchestra. we did good. we are really solid this
year.  the women did great. the orchestra well... they were good
but it was long and (this sounds dumb but) singing is kind of tiring. so
i fell asleep for part of their stuff. they had one long song then
another long song the one three part overture song thingy i remember it
going into the second part then when i thought it was going into the
third part they started leaving. i asked the guy sitting next to me if
i was sleeping... apparently i was... really hard
but then a bunch of the men from men's chorus and women from womens
nchorale went out to applebees. like 40 of us. it was a pretty good
time. kind of creepy cause andrew carey and i kept saying the same
thing at the same time or one of us would say "i was just about to say
that" i started saying things that weren't the first thing i though of
everyonce in a while just so we would say the same thing all the time
and then he did it everyonce in a while too a few times even our second
thoughts were the same... creepy

need money please- i
guess that i accidentally overdrew on my check card a few times... that
really stinks. especially with a 26 dollar charge each time. it stinks
not having a bank here that i can deposit money into. not that i earn
that much in the first place. so if anyone of you out there want to
donate to the "thomas makes me smile so i want to give him money fund"
you sure can. i won't mind... but you sure don't have to

xbox stinks- so i play halo in
my neighbors room now and again. lately the xbox has been having some
trouble turning itself on. it will make all the turn on noises but
nothing will come up. you have to hit the button over and over turning
it on and off untill it finally works... it used to be like 4 times
and it would work. now its getting worse. today i tried total
throughout the day about an hour and a half or maybe two. laying on the
ground pushing the button over and over. (don;t worry i was talking
with people and listening to music too... not just being a bum who
wants to play halo)(and it wasn't all at once, spread out over like 4
times) so if any of you want to donate to the "thats really sad that he
would waste who hours pushing a button for nothing charity" and buy me
an xbox or something i would let you do that. i mean if you want.

its not even thanksgiving yet- so
what is with all this christmas music.... come one people. what is
wrong with waiting. if you want to play some thanksgiving carols that
fine by me but not christmas yet. you know the rules people. nothing
untill thanksgiving then nothing but for 3 days straight for that
christmas shopping weekend and then some christmas music some normal
music untill one week before then all christmas music again. thats the
rules now stick to them. or i will write you up

thats all for now. i think thats the big events of the last 3 weeks. i think

Answer: i
was thinking chocolate milk, 50 to andy for hot chocolate, 50 to ryan
for 2% milk, and 75 to linn for pineapple slush. it may have not been
what i was thinking of but as soon as i read it i wanted some
immediately
Question: if i were any comic book superhero who would i be? and for you nerds out there what point in their story would i be them?

  1. Wow...I read that whole thing.  You can tell that I was trying to avoid studying for my anatomy test tomorrow.
You'd be the Incredible Hulk, of course.  I'd like to see you turn big and green at sunset every day.

  3. overdrafting does suck, yes. The V for Vendetta prank sounded good, but I haven't seen the movie so I'm not really sure if it was good. It might have sucked. I'm just not sure. If your in town for Turkey day, give me a jingle. I should be free for most if not all of it.
samP.S. I was thinking the other day...about nicknames you gave on tech sheets at camp. Like forty theives reeves. What were the best you had for each person? (banley, you, me, etc.)

  4. My mom gets out of silly bank fees by calling the bank and letting them know she didn't know that rule. They always let her out of it and then she doesn't do it again. She's not lying, she really didn't know all the rules, who reads the fine print?
Is it better to waste 1 1/2 hours pushing a button while listening to music and carrying on stimulating conversation or to waste that time pushing many buttons while desensitizing your brain by mindlessly shooting people? Hmmm
